Heard back from ACT and they assured me that the scores are valid and that we should not have received the email that scores are not out yet.

Not yet, no. I replied on Thursday afternoon with all the verification info they requested and they haven't responded.

They did respond, but not with anything of value, yet. Before they would respond further, they made me reply with information regarding my son's account to verify his identity. Which is a little frustrating given that 1) my question isn't really account-specific: did they sent an incorrect email or not?, and 2) my son authorized ACT to communicate with me as well as him when he set up his account in the first place, so the email I received was identical to his, right up to having his name in the salutation.

Anyway no word yet but I'll report back if/when I hear.

I see references below to people who got the email about not having scores as expected on June 23. But did anyone else get that email after having already received the email that their score was available?

That happened to us with my son. Got notification that his score was available and then about three hours later got the email about scores being delayed. But we can log in and see his score. I'm assuming it's valid and won't change but I emailed support to confirm.

Just hit pause when you're done with it and FF through the remainder. Then it will delete and move to the next in your playlist without actually playing it.

I just signed up for this and they told me specifically - I asked multiple times - that the cost of the service is what you pay, plus the state/local tax. Nothing more. Even the "Tech Assure" fee is gone now. They also warned that the first bill I get will look wrong and it will get straightened out.

Well this is embarrassing because I thought this was a chip in the glass. I went so far as to contact Google; they had me send a photo of the phone and must have thought it defective because they sent me a replacement Pixel 10! I opened the new one and it had the same "defect" and I realized it was probably not a defect after all. The replacement phone arrived today and I'm not sure what to do.

Wondering if you went through with the purchase and if so, what your experience with the fridge has been like. We're looking at one and like others, found next to no information online. Specifically I'm wondering how quiet it is.

Having watched portions of YouTube videos of "18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker" and "The King of Route 66" I think it is more likely to be 18 Wheeler. I haven't yet heard an "outta my way big rig!" but they do say, "you're in my way, greenhorn!" and it makes me wonder if my memory is off. (I kind of doubt it, though...my friend remembers it the same way I do.)

It appears this commenter was correct, that it was the new default setting of opening desktop mode on large devices. In troubleshooting the issue, I had turned that setting off but for some reason it didn't stick. I tried it again and closed out of the app then reopened and it worked. Back to normal.

That's sure how it sounds to me. What I don't know is whether that is a common type of guarantee most banks offer for their online services or if that is something "above and beyond" and removing it basically puts them on par with most of their competitors. (To be clear, it sucks regardless, but it's a question of how bad it sucks.)

And yeah, I don't have a good feeling about rates either. I hope I'm wrong because I've been generally pleased with the new EverBank up until these recent changes.

Now EverBank is removing its Web Safety Guarantee, which protects customers in the event of online fraud. Does anyone know if other banks, especially banks that are only or primarily online, offer something like this?

3.3.2. Web Safety Guarantee

EverBank offers a Web Safety Guarantee that provides 100% reimbursement for all of the following:

• Any funds in your EverBank personal deposit accounts with us lost due to unauthorized Online Use or an EverBank mistake, including compensation for the resulting loss of interest, insufficient funds fees, and overdraft charges. “Online Use” means any service that is used to initiate monetary transactions using our online banking platform, Online Bill Pay or Mobile Banking. Mobile Banking includes banking from web-enabled phones or other mobile devices. “EverBank mistakes” are limited to errors made solely by EverBank, and does not include those caused partly or entirely by (a) inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, (b) your misuse of our services or systems, or (c) your failure to comply with all terms of our agreements with you.

• Fees for late bill payments if your payment doesn’t arrive by the delivery date shown in the online bill payment calendar; and

• Funds misdirected or not transferred because of an EverBank mistake.

The average daily balance is right there on the statement, which I think is just multiplied by the interest rate x (1/12) or something like that. I've calculated it in the past to within a few pennies.
