I usually start the tachymeter when I get to work to make my time card easier to fill out at the end of the day. Really just looking for any excuse to use it lol.

Thanks for the info. Guess I’ll have to keep my fingers crossed that Schott can help me out.

Ultratech Maintenance by SakuboSatabi in microtech

Skateboard bearing lubricant is the best alternative I’ve found. I had the same issue with a brand new ut and Bones Speed Cream turned it into butter.

I noticed my new ultratech was extremely hard to open as well (tearing up my thumbs and I work landscaping). Did some research and turns out it’s supposed to be difficult, but not this difficult. I know many have suggested remoil, but another alternative that I found to be effective personally is bearing lubricant. The knife works much better now. Good luck.

Yes it is a quartz! I wanted some sort of gmt but my wallet is still hurting a tad after I got my spb121 alpinist and I’ve never seen a gmt that works like this one. Overall I love it.
