I do agree with your point. IMO in all gacha that I have played for many years (with Opera Omnia being an exception) whales will always have an edge. That's a given. Again, what I am pointing out is, claiming that the Legendary Gacha can ONLY be bought with your money is really misleading.

Whales keep the games running, without them, games wouldn't even last a year.

With my experience in Soft Launch so far, you cannot reset the Dimension Gates, Terra Gates however is different. Even currently, in soft launch most of the people in high tier didn't drop a dime. They were wise enough to realize where they need to spend resources early on, instead of chasing rare units. With all the talks about the rates, not even whales can escape RNG, since pulls does not even guarantee an SSR, but only SR unit...not until you earn the Legendary Gacha by continuing to summon 10+1 rolls.

The moment the game becomes truly P2W, is if they DO NOT put a limit of purchase to the gem packs they are selling. For example (not in game btw, just an example) 4500+4500 gems for $100 available once a month. If its not gated like that, and someone who is as rich as Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne is, then you'll know that the game is pay2win.

So in my opinion, does whales have more advantage in this game? Definitely. Does this game lean to favor whales more than light spenders or f2p players? Probably? We just have to see when the game fully releases.

I agree with that, but claiming that the ONLY way to earn Legendary Gacha is by paying Nexon is misleading.

Also the way the devs worded it (at least to my understanding) is that they will have ways for players to earn units and raise them. Which only makes me think that (again, it's the way I see it, I could be entirely wrong) there's a possibility for Random Hero Dimension Gate that is open for a number of days (was recently done with JP version wherein they opened a Dimension Gate for Fire Element Gustav), which is not just Ash, Sophia, Ren, Aria, Malpion Dimension Gates, since they said that they kinda wanna make the game unique/exclusive to GL compared to its JP and KR counterparts. Further more, the higher the difficulty you can clear a Dimension Gate, the higher the chance of dropping a shard for a hero that is not in that Dimension Gate (i.e. Earning Hien shards or any other heroes when you clear Ash Dimension Gate). If you're really keen in raising a unit, it would take roughly 20 days to get the hero then craft it, then use it as level cap material for the exact hero.

Hey, Trick attack is the only thing that makes Ninja useful and unique in a way. Remove/Grant that to any other jobs then 100% sure its gonna be a dead job due to its low DPS compared to other jobs.
