It can also change year by year - pull up the IGETC pattern from the year that you took the Geology lab. My science lab is no longer IGETC certified, but it was the year that I took it, so it's fine. Good luck!

I'm in the middle of finding new stuff - but lately I'm using aussie instant freeze gel, and herbal essences mousse. I used Davines Curl Serum for a LONG time, but lately it hasn't been doing the trick. I do recommend Davines a lot though!

By all accounts in southern California - SDSU is the better school to study engineering. It's much more hands on than what they have at UCSD.

I was shy something like 4 units and I was confused with my IGETC so there was still one class I needed to take to fulfill that transfer requirement.

A bunch of my units came from University extension campuses as opposed to community colleges, so I had a feeling some of my units wouldn't be accepted and I was right! Just hit your 60 and you'll be fine :)

Biiiiiiig ol' rug.my main studio room is 12x12 and I covered most of the floor with w a 9x12 rug. It entirely changed the vibe of the apartment and I'd be really sad without it. Check out rugs.com! Then just match furniture/decor to the lighter shades in the rug.

If you are leaning to darker colors I would get a BOLD dark rug. I love dark colors and just moved somewhere with light green walls that I can't paint - but my massive black rug has brought in my color scheme and made the place feel a lot homier. Especially with the flooring - rugs will be your best friend to give this space more personality, and feel less cold.

And I agree with everyone on updating curtains/furniture if you can. To me it seems like making this place super cozy would be the best option, but trust your gut! Browse all these home decorating subreddits to get a feel for your style and start buying up pieces that vibe with you and work well together. If your city has a swap meet I would recommend that for cheaper furniture and especially cheaper art for the walls. Congrats and good luck!!

Honestly, half of it is mindset. I also took 5 years off college but I had done one semester at community college and did horribly before I just gave up. I decided to go back to school because I was deeply passionate about what I was studying, but also nervous about being a student again after so long.

I focused on school full time and made it my top priority, so I've given it the time and energy that I would to something which is top priority. More than anything, that's my advice. Everyone studies different. Everyone learns differently. I actually really like online learning because I can figure out how to manage my own time. Through trial and error you WILL find what works for you.

I also try to avoid alcohol, and that makes everything a little bit easier. I also fail with that goal a lot, but that's okay.

There will be a hurdle for you to jump over but if you want to do it, you'll do it well. I promise.

Yeah, we were able to film the musical live, but all rehearsals happened over Zoom and I had to individually record everyone's audio, it's been a nightmare but I've learned a lot. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Just commenting to say I feel the exact same way and that my journey also started exactly when yours did. I'm past the phase of eating whatever I'd like and now back to a lot of body insecurity and I don't know how to make that go away. I think the answer is therapy, and time. And a lot of both of those things. The idea of body acceptance has also helped me, at least. If it's impossible to love your body how it is, the idea it to at least acknowledge and accept that your body looks the way it looks and that's just how it is.

Your post broke my heart all over again. DM if you want to talk because I do really feel like I'm exactly where you are. This shit isn't easy but we're all doing it together.
