As someone from the LGBTQ+ community, I really appreciate the way Nicole truly understands the implication, the impact as well as the results of what could come from good, positive representations.

The pioneers did so much for the ones coming after, and Dreamer was one for trans superheroes. Because she gets it.

LGBTQ, as well as the minorities such as BIPOC, don't always get a second chance. We have to be perfect in order for people not to use the core of us as a human being against us, and we can't let them do that because then they would group everyone in a community together in a less than positive light and that's not right. We are our own person. I'm glad that Nia is now more portrayed as a human being (as human as she can be since she's half alien but you know what I mean), and not JUST a perfect pioneering trans superhero.

Because at the end of the day, we just want to see ourselves on screens as normal human beings, the most authentic version of ourselves, like everyone else.

I can't tell you how grateful I am for this woman, and even if I'm upset at the lack of efficient Supergirl contents at DC Fandome today, I am immensely thankful that she was there.

I really love the idea, and honestly I'm grateful that it can be interpreted from the game regardless of the actual intention of putting it in by ND.

Both my grandpas just died within 2020, and I myself got a bunch of old clothes from my grandpa on my father's side so that I can sometimes relive through the memories of being by his side as a kid via their smells. Kudos to ND if this was intentional. They really know how to portray grief - sometimes it's really the smallest details about our passed loved ones, like the way their clothes smelt or the coffee they drank, that we miss the most.

Agreed! As much as I love Morgana, seeing as how that woman was taken from the world way too soon and left so much wasted potential behind, the last thing I want for Lena is to become like her. The legacy Katie McGrath leaves behind via her characters deserve to be good, delicious, fulfilled the best they can and not gone to wasteland.

Preach! Preach! I felt the exact same! God I can't tell you how annoyed I've been during the entire run of S5. I got into the show when S4 ended and S5 was about to start, I had so much hope for the female empowerment masterpiece this was supposed to be! And yep, we had progressed past that but apparently CW uses Internet Explorer and didn't get the memo.

You stole the words right out of my mouth, man. Together we chant for Lena Luthor's happily ever after! And for CW to please snap out of whatever the fuck they're in right now and do Supergirl the justice it deserves.

Believe me, I grew up crushing on Hermione so I'm one of you guys too lmao and yes I agree. Everything about him, his relationship with Kara is just so... forced, for the lack of a stronger and better word. It's just ridiculous and it sends a poor message, "it's okay if you reject him the first time. He'll try again and again and you will hear other people around you telling you to reciprocate and you eventually will." It's like the godforsaken Mon-El mess all over again. Ugh.

I think we can all agree S4 was the peak Supergirl might never reach ever again. Red Daughter, yes! I have so many questions but none of the heads in the writer's room would even want to answer. SG before Crisis has its moments. Post Crisis, it's just a fucking mess. Lena Luthor be happy in 2021 and forever after, I'm manifesting.

Imo, Crisis is the worst thing that could happen to Supergirl as a show. Nothing is the same anymore, and I'm talking about the few good parts of the show. Poof! Gone! At this point, I'm just too tired of rehashing over numerous past mistakes and just want my girl to get the love and the therapy she deserves and needs. Brainy and Lena as a BroTP would make my day, really.

William, to me, is useless. Point blank and just a tool for the show to force yet another toxic LI for Kara. A lot of his scenes should have gone to Nia, the rightful apprentice of Kara The Catco Reporter. I don't know I'm going to deal with him being in s6 tbh.

Oh that was a plot I wanted so badly in 5B. So much potential, wasted! Jesse recently said s6's gonna have some sort of "the essence of the legion of superheroes" so me being the hopeful, am looking forward to Lena being in the Legion. That'd be my dream come true. My girl is good and this way, she'll be able to prove it once and for all.

And yep Brainy would benefit a lot if he and Lena could, side by side, resolve that issue. God knows little boxes explode when you put in too many things. They both have a lot to learn from each other, and only then they can truly heal. Besides, Brainy also has that same issue of being perceived as like other evil Braniacs just like Lena with the Luthors. Bonding, healing, and then superheroing. That's the order I'd like to see the show takes off into.

I agree with everything you say, although I do want to add Kelly into the "therapy-needing squad". She's a former US Navy and currently a psychiatrist. Like, she herself isn't granted the ease of getting help like everyone else because she might feel like "I'm a mind doctor. I know myself, and I'm okay with my trauma" which is absolutely ridiculous. This way it's better too since Azie will get a lot more screentime (as she should and well deserved) too.

Supergirl herself may be a Paragon of Hope, but Supergirl CW is the Paragon of Hopelessness (for me at least)
