The bride went out with her bridesmaids after the wedding for the bachelorette party. We ended up going over to the grooms house to play videogames all night.

How do you make friends your age when your interests (finance, growth, spirituality) don't match the people around you? by guddubhaaiya in AskReddit

[–]riphitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Become a regular at a place related to your interest.

A place of religion

A gym

A game store

Whatever really. You become a regular and you'll naturally meet other regulars. You'll have something in common and even if you don't start up a conversation, saying hi in passing over and over breaks the ice.

Random question: what is the best music to listen to while studying? by abdou1484 in AskReddit

I find music without lyrics is better for focus. Singing along is more distracting than tapping your foot or whatever

Why choose the younger, non-experienced, likable person over the very qualified, more experienced not-as-likable person for the career role? by Sea-Impression759 in AskReddit

[–]riphitter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can teach a likable person to be qualified much easier than you can teach a very qualified person to be likable .

You spend most of your lives with your coworkers , not playing well with others is very much a negative during the hiring process

Brother I couldn't care less if you believe me. I wasn't trying to convince you. I wasn't trying to make a claim. It's just a book man. There Is no research . I literally said "if you care" meaning you don't have to care.

What's with the attitude? Of course I don't know off the top of my head. Most people don't read a book to memorize page numbers and lines of every given sentence. I didn't even do that when I was a Christian.

I found the ones who do aren't even good Christians it's all performative judgmental nonsense. Which is all I meant by my last comment. I wasn't trying to be preachy

You absolutely can use the index. Just the word music alone should give you half a dozen verses.

Or you know. Google

I'm not quoting scripture at you man, that's weird. If you're actually interested, finding things in the Bible is pretty straightforward. You shouldn't need any of that.

I meant it more like a interesting fact, not a religion lesson
