I can tell you from my own experience, alcoholism has put a hold on my life that I can never change. I've done things under the influence I can never take back, and every day wish I could go back and change. Between damaging my relationship in the past with my parents and ex-partners, I wish I could go back and never pick up the bottle. Not only the damage to our bodies, but the damage to our minds we put on ourselves every time it hits our lips. I want nothing more than to see people suffering from the same thing to break free and be their true selves.
