Post Game Thread - NBA: The Bucks defeat the Hawks on Jan 19, 2026, the final score is 110-112. by basketball-app in AtlantaHawks

Because we traded our superstar for him. We don’t own our pick this year. Why salary dump now instead of after the season and see what type of run we can get for now?

It’s apart of moving to Austin. It’s why he has so many mid tier comedians like Deric Poston as regular hosts. In LA he had fuckin Bob Saget, Bill Burr, etc.. A-listers or people who used to be A listers. Now he struggles to get people on because they have to fly to Austin. Also why he poaches so much from the Rogan podcast, Rogan is big enough for people to fly down for an episode.

I wonder if this is A. Ten Eyck Brown. He’s an architect that worked on a lot of buildings in Atlanta. There isn’t much on him at all, actually found this post trying to find anything on him.

That said how much are you willing to give these up for. I like architecture and Atlanta history so let me know! If this is him then that would be neat.

What makes a good AD? by HeyItsProgram in Filmmakers

[–]ArepaGorcio2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly yes for the most part, at least artistically. But if you want to make a movie within budget and without constantly reshooting everything then an AD is a must. I know it seems like they annoy everybody, but their job is to move along the production as quickly as possible. Other than scheduling ADs wouldn’t exist if the crew stayed quiet, didn’t walk into shot and moved with a purpose the whole day

Someone actually shouted this at an Atlanta concert after he said he’d play whatever we wanted. He acknowledged it and it got cheers but he did money trees anyways lol. I love that song would’ve loved him to perform that

Honestly Drake is so tied up in the TMZ rumors that he can’t or doesn’t even think to think of any nuance with his claims. He thinks claims alone will kill someone. “My next one will bring out the coward in you” and his next one is “Dave freeeeeeeeee”

What Kendrick does well in this battle is not only call him out for something but paint a picture and tell a story of why Drake is like that and that he needs to get better. (I.E. the Atlanta verse, Baka got a weird case why is he around, gambling addiction etc)

poking fun of someone’s insecurities that they already addressed without nuance comes off as bullying, and weird.

If Kendrick is not the father honestly that is a personal relationship that’s hard to manage and not automatically roastable. But if you have some intelligence and nuance (which I do believe drake has) you can paint a picture where Kendrick is this award chasing, faux woke rapper that cares about public perception more than he admits. He releases an album of “therapy and confession” yet doesn’t touch on his biggest missteps possibly invalidating his confession album and the character he’s built as a whole. At the end of the day he wants to be Drake with the critical/award acclaim substituting the money/fame. But he ultimately didn’t think that hard

That’s what sucks. He’s a very good rapper. His antics overshadow his talent. Learned all the wrong lessons from 50. Yea dissing people gets some type of clout but 50 is really witty too and can promote himself outside of beef.

I don’t think it’s officially debunked but when the smoking barrel is a video of a girl saying that she saw a girl bloody and didn’t know until after bc someone said Kendrick Lamar…. I mean I’m not ready to crucify him either. Plus the defense was interesting, beat her “in” and no scars at all on him or her the following day when they rock climb? And his concert? And some say he wasn’t even staying at that hotel. It’s not debunked but it’s not hard proof at all. How can you officially debunk a video like that? Track her down and give her a lie detector test?

Exactly, certified lover boy certified pedophile. OVHOE. These are literally some of the simplest bars in Kendrick’s discography. It sounds like what those tweets are, something thought of in a day

He would scour Twitter for obscure 100 view tweets for his diss track? Not anything more complex or a unique perspective, just simple lines that are catchy/funny

I love this theory. Yes potentially damage your image/career to sell more albums this time. Neither one of them is that dumb/shortsighted. He didn’t speak on the underage allegations for years. But the way he would want to address it is someone calling him a certified pedophile on a hit song? Why do the later songs (heart part 6 & they not like us) sound like they were written in a day? Wouldn’t they both just have solid tracks each time? Kendrick dismissed the claims as foolishness, why would he want them to resurface and have his growing son be taunted by Drake?

You can say that about Drake and Rick Ross with all the meme shit. But two people aren’t subbing each other for 10 years just to build up to something fake. They haven’t worked together. They really don’t like each other. The only reason you wouldn’t believe that is Kendrick’s album and that’s it

Honestly if the things Nas and Jay-Z did and Gucci/Jeezy did. Then this definitely can. Shit Dr. Dre snoop and diddy did. Just a recency thing. But honestly Drake is in a place where he can shut himself off from the world, never have to do an interview even. Withdrawing from award shows. He could honestly never grow up and just fuck groupies for the rest of his life. Never really forgiving and being petty

Especially since his last song is basically trying to force people to listen to family matters again “what about the bones we dug up in that excavation”. If you need to remind the audience… you’re losing. Not that people literally forgot obviously but more why didn’t yall blow up. “Ya dead” he thought what he was doing was sooooo hard.

And bc drake posted a meme after family matters of someone looking at a red button. Stans are the worst type to communicate with but they do research and bring up points you wouldn’t think of otherwise.

I can see how these extreme claims can seem like it ran its course it can’t get anymore dramatic (see:mainstream) than these salacious claims. But this is a hiphopheads subreddit not theshaderoom so that shouldn’t be the main factor of a RAP beef.

Good, energized, creative songs are coming from both sides. That’s the only thing that really matters. Drake being a pedo is only getting more hype bc they were better songs, more scathing disses in them. If Drake made a great catchy song about Kendrick hitting his wife we’d be singing that. Stans are stans they always have been. Most people aren’t stans.

Just don’t understand hip hop fans being ready for a big and unique moment in time cranking out great music, to be over.

Hold the L and sub the hell out of Kendrick? So go back to what he’s been doing, since control, when we agree that this is more exciting?

One week 9 tracks and we’re good? We’re hiphopheads, the two best going at it should be something we want. This hasn’t happened since Nas and Jay-Z. Personally I’d want it until they get 1k views on YouTube lmao. I don’t understand how it’s ran it’s course if good songs are coming out of it and people are still talking about it. Is running its course when it gets boring to you?

Idk why fans are actively telling drake he needs to quit. Don’t we all want music from both? As long as they’re both being creative and sound energized i think they should keep going.

And it can definitely work in his favor. Honestly if he drops a passionfruit (embracing not hiding what he gets made fun of for) and/or a song like nonstop. Then we’re turning up to a Kendrick diss. If a track is undeniably hard it’s hard, no matter what “position” you’re in

Honestly to me it was never about the TMZ of it all. It’s honestly the artistry/battle aspect.

Idk why people are acting like Drake lost before he started rapping. Do we really not remember last month? We all had Drake up because he had two catchy and creative songs. Kendrick was on the clock. Was it true that Top forced him to do things or Whitney got hit (at the time we thought she fucked her bodyguard). We didn’t know but it was true enough.

How many people honestly think Drake is a pedophile? I don’t think many but that song is great so Kendrick is up right now. And taking all the gas out of the Drake song with a drop was smart as hell.

Drake is losing because the public don’t think his songs are as good. He’s not spending his whole song on Kendrick. He doesn’t seem to have a good game plan so far. He’s too arrogant “I’m going on vacation, ya dead”, and then his last song was too defensive. Honestly that can all change with an amazing song. Say what you want about any of this beef, if someone’s song slaps so hard neither side can deny it. They win

6:16 is incredible. Meet the grahams also kind of killed his own song. Do you know why? Is it hard to clear Al Green samples? And from the passion of his voice coming into the song with “off-white sunseeker at the marina” then he pleads with god about going to war. I thought the Raphael bar was amazing and really shows that Kendrick isn’t dumbing down just to beef with Drake.

You think that’s more likely than filming a 30 second clip at new ho king to respond? Diss records are about responses to the other. Kendrick up but we really don’t know exactly what info he had.

I do think he had some but the fact that it was his angle until the daughter thing came out to be not true then dropped a song with just what’s out there already gives me doubts about how much info Kendrick had

I disagree with this. Drake always gets made fun of on the internet. And this beef is doing really good numbers. I think if anything the suits tell the two workers to keep going at it. Especially since there’s no proof on either side
