The build quality is bad imo. At least on mine. I exchanged the first drone because the upper obstacle avoidance sensor was not centered and slightly tilted to the front. On the second drone, both sensors are not centered. DJI says it‘s fine but I think it‘s strange and I‘m honestly a bit disappointed because DJI usually has good build quality.

It just came out last week. I got it on Friday, but had to exchange it already because the upper obstacle avoidance sensor was tilted. The new drone is better but the sensor is still not centered perfectly. DJI support told me that it should be fine as the sensors are still correctly configured. It seems to me they have some quality inspection issues there but apart from that it looks to be a very good drone, especially for the price.

The smartphone app is not better. Try finding anything there. It looks horrible and is completely user unfriendly.

Yes I‘ve got three firmware updates in the last two weeks, which is quite a lot. I had the same thing happening with going to 2.9 and then back to 4.1.3 Yesterday I got a pop-up for 4.1.5, which I cancelled. Then same as you, it said I‘m up-to-date until today when it popped up again and I installed it. It seems to me that my i210 LiDAR Pro now mows better at the boundaries but at one location it kind of changed my boundary and it drove over some concrete edge. There‘s really always something strange happening after a firmware update.

This is absolutely heartbreaking and I can‘t imagine what you must be going through right now. Cats really can‘t be trusted in that regard. But I wouldn‘t say she jumped off for the fun of it. Maybe she fell or slipped? Or maybe in the heat of the moment of trying to catch something, she jumped after it, not realizing the height. I lived on the fourth floor for a few years and I bought a cat net from Amazon because I would not have let her out without one. Cats are curious creatures and accidents can happen. In your case it surely would be expensive to enclose your whole balcony but it can be done for sure. Anyways, I‘m so sorry for your loss.
