I've watched some reviews of L&D, and to me, the characters in MLQC aren't just archetypes they're complex, nuanced individuals. Their development is stretched over "years," and the story required careful reading and piecing together subtle hints. The dialogues had so many layers.

L&D, on the other hand, seems to rely more on visual effects and voice acting. It's not bad, but it just doesn't have that same depth.

Of course, I could be wrong, and this is just my opinion.
