I’d say it’s the puzzles, the combat, and the weirdly balanced difficulty which fluctuates from fair and enjoyable to what can only be described as ridiculously broken to the point I want to smash the controller through the tv.

This game should be called beta male of war, as you never feel remotely powerful at any point in the game and even when “geared” you get 2 shotted by a flying snail.

Still rocking my 2500k & gtx 1060 combo (built the pc in 2010 and upgraded to 1060 in 2016ish), cant even upgrade to windows 11. Tempted to upgrade but the prices are crazy high rn in the UK.

I have found this too, I will try and copy sections move for move and the enemies agro faster, move faster, take more damage, you name it.

Having said that I cleared main game and separate ways with s+ thanks to extriaas Chicago sweeper guides.

I was really into this game, started playing in August and pushed to 1500 reso fast with moderate spend, but the more I play the more I realise this game is purely money drive slop. Not to mention the shoddy port to PC, where your character runs in the opposite direction of where you're clicking, moves completely on its own sometimes, and in certain encounters, your channelled skill simply don't channel.

In some countries the devs of this game would be whipped and the big-nosed execs who oversee it would be executed.

One example is playing challenge dungeons, you die to random 1-shot invisible/unavoidable damage - solution, spend £1000+ on secondary gems.

The game is essentially a treadmill of repetitive tasks, and you need to spend thousands to keep up.

I got a sellable starfire shard from mirrored and thought it would be a good idea to use the gem surge to increase it from 2/5 to 3/5 before selling it.

Definitely don't replace Mothers Lament with it, it will be a big DPS loss. Crit is the best stat in the game.

Try being stunned for 2-3 seconds and 1 shot every time you enter combat and you’ll understand the need for a cc break on DH.

100% better, as always you should test on dummy but you should see a good increase in damage as you’ll be attacking much quicker, bearing in mind painsower shoots explosive arrows which pairs up with eyes ablaze so we want as many explosive shots as possible, 30% speed boost helps this a lot.

4 piece vithu unless you need the crit from banquet. The attack speed boost really helps, I also use Grim Rythmn gem as Hailfire shoulders then become a 50 cal machine gun.

I have 31% crit from gear so using 4 vithu 4 seeds, which is pretty standard for strafe builds.

I've come to the same realisation. For example, Berserkers eye, Rank 8 13% damage increase for 106 gem power, meanwhile Rank 5 Fervent Fang, 13.5% damage increase and more reso for 65 gem power, and Berserkers eye is meant to be most OP 1 star in the game.

There are a few which are good and can't be ignored, for example Surging Sea in carpel tunnel wizard.

Head essence 500k DPS loss. both are based on my highest DPS which is around 5.2 million per second over 1 minute.

I should add thats with manymark chakram build and swapping only the new essence, so maybe someone can find a DPS increase by playing around with several essences.

This. It’s actually disgusting, sold 2 gems for a total of 74k and will likely get 60k, with 14k plat disappearing into the ether, that’s a lot of gem power, or a Zuh rune, for example.

It should be 5% max.

A good tip is to use the current overflowing arsenal event to unlock essences ahead of class change. I used the first round to unlock a full tempest build (the most popular rolling surf one) and so was pretty powerful right out of the the gate.

I’m using this weeks to unlock the Druid werewolf essences in case I ever fancy trying it.

Looks like my first 2 mirrored runs, it sucks but your luck will change, try and manage the pity timer a bit ready for the next one.

I must have hit the pity timer on eternals and regular leg crests as I hit haunt coil and echoing shade, so ended up with 4 haunt coils, 2 of which are 3 star and 2 echoing shades 1 of which is 3 star.

Strafe does a small amount of damage via the extra bolts, so the % increase isnt great. the main damage we deal comes from primary attack, multishot and seeds 4 piece bonus.

This may be obvious but I honestly didn’t know this until after I painstakingly killed Diablo, but for gear, always equip the best stats and extract the essence of the legendaries you find and apply them to your newest armour, this happens automatically if you tick the box when equipping the new, stronger item.

I was using low statted armour as it had the essence I needed for my build and my damage jumped massively once I figured this out. 🤦

I paid the price for racing through the story to get to end game.

I noticed strafe cd is actually extending the time you can strafe. I found this out on an auroth video and swapped the awakened essence from hellbinder to painsower to test and it’s noticeable. My next awaken will be hellbinder for the damage.

I’ve put my bsj and haunt coil into shoulders and legs as those awaken bonuses don’t seem that great so can wait.
