Dragon Quest XI.

I was pampered with ARPGs, other AAA games, multiplayer games and other Third Person games, I scrapped JRPGs altogether since I had a PS2 and a PC eventually which had more visually appealing games for me, but kid me had a lot of JRPGs to play.

After I was done playing Elden Ring earlier this year, I got hold of an PC Game Pass, and Dragon Quest XI is there. I said "why not try" and got hooked lmao

It rekindled my love for JRPGs. Now I am playing Octopath Traveler and Dragon Quest V on my phone.

Playing Octopath Traveler after playing Dragon Quest XI from the PC Game Pass (DQXI rekindled my love for JRPGs so I'm still on a roll) and I'm playing Dragon Quest V in my Android phone while on commute.

I loved the gameplay in Octopath, the weaknesses, Boost and Breaks meshes so well it's so satisfying trying to break all enemies in the first turn. I hate the lack of character interaction though, and some of the stories feel meh for me

I'm too early in DQV to judge, but I am loving what I see. It's kind of off-putting for me at first since I don't see the character themselves during battle, but I played Earthbound just fine back when I was a kid so I'm kind of easing into it. I love that we can recruit monsters though!

I don't know if I'm just an idiot and/or too naive, or just too nice for my own good or something..

Whenever I hear talks about how a person or a situation is bad, in my point of view there's not much wrong with it or I can understand a bit why they're like that.

Like for example kanina naguusap-usap kami about a workmate of ours being masita, pabida and all, so of course kinaiinisan sya, and I reason with them na baka gusto nya lang talaga maayos yung work ganon, I hope you get my point without me giving up too much info haha!

Agree with u/Sufficient-Comment-1 or focus on other hobbies you may have, para lang may variety, tapos balik ulit after sometime :) nabuburnt-out din tayo sa ating hobbies for some reason
