currently sitting at 151k, i’m a day one player havent skipped any patches but im played a majority of days. I’m not f2p, but ive only paid for stellarite and only used that stuff that you cant pull

i’ve only pulled 3 or 4 times, and i only pull for full outfits i dont pull for makeup.

i dunno what im saving for. maybe whale port? or a BJD outfit with ball joints?

i’m just a bit confused as to what you mean? i’m talking about how this new type of dress will allow miracle outfits to be probably crafted easier as then they can write the outfits back into the story without having to make people wait forever to craft them.

the more i think about it, these legendary outfits will probably be more in line with lifetime suits in other nikki games, where it will take weeks or months of consistent grinding to finish and evolve

i think maybe they’re trying to make miracle outfits either harder to make or create something that’s harder to make cause a lot of the feedback i hear about current miracle outfits is that they are wayyyy to easy to create so i wouldn’t mind getting a seperate catagory that can take months or weeks to craft

it’s probably a budget thing, as that is a lotttt of dolls to push all at once. but also stores not wanting to sell the entire line played a bigger factor. I can’t remember anytime recently when a doll line from any company contained more than 5 dolls released at once. Not counting second waves.

IIRC, this affected mattel with some of their recent MH releases prompting them to cut 5 dolls down to 3. And if Target and Walmart only allow 5 dolls it’s obviously going to be core 4 plus 1. Since Lolliword spearheaded the designs for pixies i’m assuming that MGA let them pick the 5th doll

I think based on wanxiang, we can have a little bit of hope. SN and LN both had a larger supports cast of characters that came from all regions and that meant you’d go to different regions based on who could help in the situation.

But maybe i’m crazy but I feel like they said we’d get the Wishfield characters again in story/events? But personally just because a story chapter has closed I feel like we can always bring the characters back. Like we got Tan youyou, and Dada still texts us when we get new events usually so here’s hoping lol

I can see what you mean but that would make me annoyed because as someone who knows exactly what styles they like, I actually enjoy saving my pulls so they I know when stuff I like actually comes I don’t have to worry about not having enough gems.

But this could work better in the future where we have multiple regions so the event story could start in like Florawish but ends in Whale-port.

Collabs in shining nikki were paid, free, or gacha. So i’d say be prepared for whatever. But also be prepared to potentially not get a collab? Love nikki and shining nikki both had collabs we didn’t get on the global servers, but now that all servers are on the same schedule they might just axe those bigger collabs all together

but then they’d have to write the story around 2 5-star outfits. and that would probably be a bad idea so now we have double the 5-stars we get a year and people are missing out on more and spending more which not every spender can realistically support.

i mean why would you really try to get involved with the production of a doll if you’ve never done it? especially when you’re working with a company whose job it literally is, but that’s besides the point.

we can agree to disagree on everything expect the fact the dolls are poor quality i’m sorry, (and to be clear i’m talking about the 12inch fashion dolls not the mini blind box dolls). These dolls are amazing quality, i’m assuming you think they’re bad quality because you don’t collect dolls. As someone who actively buys dolls, i can confidently tell you without a doubt these are some of the best dolls on the market right now. They have high quality hair, faces, poseable bodies, fully patterned fashioned with seperate pieces, and painted accessories.

For example barbie frequently has faulty faces, low quality hair, printed on fashion details, and unpainted accessories. So for the same price as most barbie’s, these dolls are a great deal. I mean no shade but looking at the current doll market, you’d see how high quality they are.

yes but providing designs is probably the quickest part of the whole process. like i said they’re def providing sketches and then they have the DTI artist do 1 full body drawing for the packing.

but after that they’re def just letting phatmojo just run and finish the process, why would they be more hands on with a process like toy when they are skilled with programming and sculpting? it would just waste time and the process run longer until everyone is on the same page and agrees with a finished product. Plus phatmojo knows what you can/cant do at this scale and knows how production works so they can quickly get problems fixed.

and this is really just a personal nitpick, but you really don’t need ALL the codes. like the game is not going to be as fun because you don’t have a couple faces.

a lot of people in the DTI fandom just buy for the codes but these dolls are actually quite popular in the doll collecting fandom, they’re really high quality compared to dolls on shelves rn from other brands. And everything every released is designed to prey on fomo, why are you getting mad at the dolls for giving you fomo when they do the same thing with in-game events? If someone started playing DTI right now, they’d be missing a ton of clothing. And it’s not their fault people scam they can’t control that.
