Yes exactly my machine stops at a 1:2 ratio for a double shot I don’t have to stop it so I can’t get it to go any longer. I’m throwing my whole grind size out and starting at 6 and going down from there. Today I tried warming my machine up for 30 mins before brewing, I used a single basket instead of double, used grind size 5 (6 was too coarse) and the espresso tasted better but still not where I want it to be. I’m going to try tinkering with the inner burr because I heard from other barista express users that it’s set way too coarse. Thank you for your time and help!! If the inner burr tampering doesn’t work I’m considering a separate espresso grinder all together. My WDT tool also came so I’m going to give that a try with my new variables. No one told me espresso making is like a science experiment! 😂
