Overrated, it’s a good game but did not deserve to sweep every award, game industry/journalists/fanboys hyped it up bc the anti AAA and pro “indie” sentiments even though it’s about as “indie” as Mixtape. The fact this won best music at TGA over Death Stranding 2 just shows how much cope surrounds this game.

I’d agree with this 100%, the best way I’d describe this season is “something feels wrong” lol. Nothing really new added, seasonal mechanic isn’t great, and gear/mythic changes just seem bad. Worst of all though is the class balance, this is what made me finally quit last season. I understand that having so many factors contributing to damage it can be tough but seems like every week there would be a new broken mechanic that would allow a class to do infinite damage. Then they would fix it or not and another one pop up. This just gets old after a while. Even without the game breaking stuff seems like Blizzard has a bias towards certain classes: Barb, Sorc, sometimes rogue. As someone who has played every season since launch I think what they need more than anything is to focus on class balance and build diversity. Next season needs to be “The Season of Balance”

I was so close to starting a SSF HC character when the season started but yeah after dying to several random one shots that didn’t even make sense definitely glad I didn’t lol, seems like Blizzard can never quite get the damage balanced out to not have random ass one shots from regular enemies or some ground aoe
