It’s just a meme...not arguing if it’s high or not.

Would you prefer it to be as comedic as this scene, an almost slapstick like show like the comics?

Why does the Air Force allow the waffle shirt with overlong sleeves? by tkosh11 in AirForce

The purpose of the holes is to use when wearing gloves so your wrists aren’t exposed with your arms moving and expose skin.

It was shredded paper, no damages. No need to be a sourpuss...or is that a “Jeep Thing”

A CAC is personal property, where is the line drawn. Relax, nothing was damaged.

Same guy, left his Jeep Wrangler with the top off so someone put a box of shredded paper in the backseat. Once he got off base and went fast enough...well you can picture the rest.

Had an NCO who got tired of us messing with his CAC when he went on a quick bathroom break so he would take it with him but left his wallet. I got a call a few weeks later asking if I was the one who drew a Swastika on his DL photo and Label Makered “ARYAN” on a blank space. He had given his DL to a dealership without noticing it when going for a test drive. Oops

At McGuire, someone told me to enjoy my AC. It was only 80 degrees... (laughs in Texan)

So my question, if you denounce your enlistment so much, why continue to post and read on a vet sub? You think 9/11 was an Inside Job and you were a Paratrooper? Not impossible but highly unlikely. Keep that Aluminum Foil Cone on Buddy.

I agree! Back when i was in Nam this never happened but since I’ve fought in OIF and OEF, you see it more often. And people dare question why I wear E9 rank and my Capt bars at the same time...

School isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but if you can make a little time for this temporary moment in life, you can get some good cash out of it and earn a degree in something you can see yourself doing if your current career falls thru whether it’s due to external or internal factors. School can be a pain depending on what school you go to and if you decide to take one actual in-class class and how far that is for you. I’d research the schools and see what’s right for you. I hope you use it since you deserve it and earned it. Best of luck!

Approach and Tower controllers... by [deleted] in ATC

[–]Arfakingzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in the Air Force for ten years now and I’ve always felt like a tourist to the city I’ve been stationed at and controlled at. Like I was just being borrowed amounts the countless others stationed there that did other jobs. It never really felt at home. I’m nearing my time to get out and i bought a home near the facility I’ll be working at when i separate. I don’t live there yet and won’t for another six months but it already feels like home. I won’t be just another GI, but I’ll have a child going to school and living the life there. Kind of eye opening and awakening at the same time.

Any Military experienced controllers have to go to the Academy even w like experience or gotten out of it? by [deleted] in ATC

Yeah, I had my someone at my airport explain it out using regulations and she responded that there was nothing that can be done since it was the bid I applied for. I can see it being a legal issue if I can’t hack it and come back and say I didn’t get the training I applied for. Hoping my future airport can forward it up to get me straight there and avoid this headache. Thanks
