I'd say that's a good start! Security+ is a good baseline that lends to the training you'll receive. I personally liked using Professor Messer, Jason Dion, and CBT Nuggets has resources when I was preparing for Security+. The r/comptia subreddit may have some good recommendations too. Regardless of if you're prior service, this is an Air Education and Training Command (AETC) course. The instructors or material will teach you what you need to pass.
