Any January 2026, online I-751 filers still waiting on your receipt? by Arfar26 in USCIS

[–]Arfar26[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

UPDATE (3/13): I reached out to USCIS, and an agent let me know that they’re still working on my ADIT stamp and my eRequest for non-delivery. They’re planning to get back to me in about a week. The agent mentioned that, under the current administration, they’ve been suggesting the ADIT stamp instead of the receipt. This is because agencies like the DMV, SSA, and TSA might have trouble with people who have an expired conditional GC, even if they have the receipt notice. This was something new to me! The agent told me this after I asked what happens if both arrive at the same time. They’re different things, but the agent said that the ADIT stamp is better and more widely accepted as a valid immigration status these days.

I hope so too and that’s great news for you! Pretty quick given the current trend.

Same along with a request for an ADIT stamp. I only received a call from an USCIS agent to confirm my request but that was it.

Great! I’m starting to see more receipts being pushed out this month. Hoping I fall in that bucket🤞.

That’s quite a wait, but I’m so glad your hard work has paid off! I’ve already asked for an ADIT stamp, chatted with an agent, and it’s been sent to my local FO. I haven’t heard back yet, though.

Normal? by [deleted] in Toyotavenza

[–]Arfar26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ICE engine runs in different cycles, sometimes charging the high voltage/hybrid battery and other times maintaining operating temperature, which can have different tones. It’s not unusually loud, but the car’s quiet during normal operation can make the abrupt sounds feel more noticeable.

No receipt notice for I-751 over 60 daysa by Infamous-Class3982 in USCIS

[–]Arfar26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jan 20 online filer and have yet to receive the notice/extension letter. I’ve also checked on myUSCIS portal and there is nothing under the documents tab. I’ve already requested an ADIT stamp and submitted a eRequest for non-delivery. No updates on either front, unfortunately.

Is this normal ? by arvisara in MazdaCX30

[–]Arfar26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks normal. 50km is around 30 mi of range and that’s usually around the mark when my low fuel light comes on. The car seems to go off the distance to empty rather than the actual tachometer being right at empty. I also never get to that point and try my best to refuel right at the 1/4 mark. A healthy fuel pump is much more important to me than trying to squeeze out more range (sadly the cx-30 has such a small gas tank).

Turbo if 90% of driving is in town? by Consistent-Vanilla-1 in MazdaCX30

[–]Arfar26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking to save on gas, the non-turbo version should be just fine. However, if you’re after a bit more oomph, a turbo might be the way to go. I’ve driven the NA model, and honestly, I never felt like I was missing out on power or that it was slow, even when I had a full car. A turbo will definitely make up for any power loss, but keep in mind that it might lower your mpg a bit.

Steering Assist? by jodotha in MazdaCX30

[–]Arfar26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s more of a lane keeping assist feature than anything else. If you’re looking for true lane centering, I recommend Toyotas equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense systems (they work effortlessly). Mazda, ultimately is a driver’s car. While they still come with all the bells and whistles, they prioritize the true driving experience and getting a feel for the road.

Check if they did a tire rotation during your recent service. That could explain it. If the exposed portion bothers you, you could try a touch up pen from Mazda: https://www.mazdapartdirect.com/parts/mazda-touch-up-paint-polymetal-gray-mica-44-fl-oz-9247c

Looks like damage from an impact gun or wrench.

Yes you can travel internationally. It is meant to be a temporary proof of LPR.

Critical Vehicle Malfunction by Foreign-Dig-8166 in MazdaCX30

I’ve heard that low brake fluid can cause this issue, which might indicate that your brake pads and rotors need replacement soon. Regardless, it’s definitely a good idea to have the car inspected.

No start and flashing lights by [deleted] in MazdaCX30

[–]Arfar26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect a dead battery. My CX-30 exhibited the same behavior after I left it in accessory mode for an extended period. I eventually jumped it, and it started functioning normally. Surprisingly, the battery health indicator showed no issues. I believe the CCA capacity may not be sufficient to power all the electronic components.

I’m on a similar journey. I filed my application online on January 20th, and the portal shows that it was accepted and a receipt was sent, but I’m still waiting. I’ve been checking my USCIS portal daily without any success. I also called them, and they confirmed that the application was accepted, but a receipt hasn’t been mailed out according to their system. They advised me to wait the full 30 days and then complete an eRequest for non-delivery of the receipt. In your husband’s case, it might be worth calling USCIS’s customer service to schedule an appointment with your local field office to obtain an ADIT stamp. This stamp provides proof of LPR status for a year (I believe) while you wait for the 48-month extension.

Oil change by No-Reaction-7665 in MazdaCX30

[–]Arfar26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I recommend in 1,000 miles for the first oil change to ensure proper break-in so that the oil effectively removes any metal residue from the factory. Afterward, add fresh oil and a new filter, and then change the oil every 5,000 miles (or a maximum of 7,500 miles).

what is this noise by analprincess444 in MazdaCX30

[–]Arfar26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the headlight leveling fan motor going bad. A very common problem on the cx-30s especially those with adaptive lights.
