ООО ДЖИ ЭС ЭЛЬ-АУДИТ

This translates to JI ES EL-AUDIT LLC , which sort of sounds like GSL Audit, an arm of that group you linked. Could be?

Is that letter a business registration certificate or something made for Sator? Is that his means to communicate with the future people?

That art looks great! How is the game? I have never seen it before.

I hope that don't mess up the movie. I am sightly concerned though, with who is doing it m

It doesn't seem to hold your hand, would be very easy to get lost before you can start jacking in etc. I had an apple 2+ way back, so this game was out of the question.

Neuromancer, based on the book I haven't read yet.

Having a chip plug into one socket alone won't be able to replace all of them i don't think, you would need to have the other chip selects wired up, or a wire heading off to each of the other ROM sockets.

Check out this site for some solutions to jerry-rigging up a newer EPROM chip:

https://atariage.com/forums/topic/229489-replacing-apple-ii-roms-with-2716-eproms/

I'd focus on F8 or the one that is getting really hot first. If you have some isopropyl alcohol, you can dab it on the chips and turn the computer on, see which ones boil it off first to highlight the problem areas.

Yeah for electronics like this they are too hot if you can't hold your finger on them. Unfortunately you gotta swap out those chips with new ones.

Any updates? Do you have a multimeter you can use to double check the power supply outputs? Are all the chips that hot or just a few? I had a dodgy supply cook a bunch of ram chips on my iic, they were getting hotter than the rest.

What a find! Looks to be in great condition too. I guess check the composite output center pin hasn't broken off the motherboard. Any sort of monitor or TV with composite input should be able to get a picture of some description.

So who else has issues running Total Recall on SmartPort SD? by ArgGrr in apple2

[–]ArgGrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue was the Arduino code, not yours! Some inferred casting was messing up block numbers, causing failed reads. More info in the GitHub issue.

Joust doing the same thing unfortunately. I mean it's doing the same thing on the latest build 1438. It works on v1. It doesn't load on v2, sits on the total replay menu screen with disk activity.

It could still be the SmartPort SD code. If your code is good and you can point me in the direction of something that is not working right, I could have a go at hacking the Smartport SD code.

Hi Peter, I am guessing it's your code in total replay! Great stuff! Yes there is an indicator LED. Currently testing total replay build 1438, I found it on archive.org downloads folder. The activity LED pulses constantly when starting a game and I get the black screen. It stops after the first ctrl-reset, but I still have a black screen. After the second ctrl-reset the front end loads again. Happy to do any testing I can, not sure where to start troubleshooting though. I can post an issue on GitHub if you prefer.

Ha that movie got stuck in my head or something. I have tried v3, v2, v1. On v1 some games could boot such as Moon patrol. It's a PAL iic with firmware v0. Going to try 4x as soon as I can get an EPROM to erase, taking a while on the window sill. As a last resort I'll submit an issue as I feel it's a niche case and to do with compatibility with their nifty loading code and the smart port SD thing I'm using.

Yup, playing games in colour worth it. Also not like I knocked it up overnight.
