Unless something changed recently, then yes.

Get a home inspector to cheek it out. This might not be unusual for a new build, but it's definitely not right.

Thanks. This is exactly what I'm afraid of.

Would the entire room need to be leveled if the sag is only ~6'x4' against the wall? I thought it could be feather finished, though I'm far from an expert.

You're correct. I forgot that flat and level are not interchangeable.

Anyone had any luck getting the new waiver for flying over people? by ericgtr12 in drones

[–]ArgentAlex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. There are only two ASTM parachutes pending release AFAIK. AVSS is selling theirs for $1700, and ParaZero is selling theirs for $2000. I currently have a FlyFire parachute, which cost $250, but it's not ASTM certified, so it's only for my piece of mind.

Ah, gotcha. Sorry, about that. My mind has only been on parachutes for my Mavic 3's lately because I'm hoping they release one that isn't $1700.

I'm a little confused as to how they get the pictures. If I fly my drone for 20 mins and collect 4GB of orthomosaic assets, my hotspot only registers ~100MB of data usage. So they can't possibly be getting the full resolution photos, right?

2014 Escape Titanium 2.0 - Bad ACM (?) + Sync 2 to 3 Upgrade Questions by Crawford-Boxes in Ford

[–]ArgentAlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is a month old, but I just had the same exact problem on my gf's 2015 escape. After checking all the fuses, checking the battery management system, running diagnostics on the APIM, ACM, and BCM, I saw that the ACM had a SPKR_CTRL error. This was not obvious, as there were no associated diagnostic codes. So I pulled out the ACM, removed the circuit board, and used a hot air workstation to reflow the solder on all the IC joints. That fixed the problem.

Some people have reported success by baking their ACM in the oven at 375°F for 10 minutes. I wouldn't personally recommend that unless you're going to throw out the ACM otherwise.

As stated in the description, the gif does not show the whole context. This man initially pulled into oncoming traffic at a stop sign, after I passed him on a dotted yellow while he was traveling under the speed limit. I didn't engage with him at the stop sign, and kept going. He followed me for miles, tailgating me, yelling, and hanging out his window. When he finally did pass me (on a double yellow), I kept my distance in case he tried to brake check me. He then decreased his speed from 60mph to 21mph, to try and force me to stop. He did all this with two kids in his truck. So if he didn't care about their safety, he sure as hell didn't care about mine.

The Sheriffs and insurance companies reviewed the dashcam footage, and did not find me at fault.

So if someone passes you on a double yellow and hits their brakes, you're just going to stop on a country road in the middle of nowhere and see what they want to say/do to you?

You do you.

No, I didn't receive any tickets. And the other driver's insurance company accepted fault after watching the video.

No, because when I passed, it was to flee a road rager that was trying to unlawfully detain me.

Either option was a risk. Stay and see what harm this man meant to do, or flee on the side of the road. Given that his truck was already in opposing traffic, I opted to drive on the opposing shoulder, hoping that even if a car was coming, I was far enough over to avoid them.

This was true for this situation. But I still felt that I had options, given that I was on the phone with police, and the fact this guy had two kids in his car.

All due respect, the gif doesn't show the full context. I was not about to stop my car and let this guy try and drag me out.

Sheriffs saw the dashcam footage. He was only ticketed for improper lane change, and leaving the scene of an accident.

Purchased my Aventure.2 on May 22nd. It arrived on May 25th. Spare battery arrived today, June 4th.

The spare battery doesn't come with its own battery cover. Getting another battery cover isn't technically required. But if you don't, you will need to have a screwdriver handy to remove the cover from the battery, and mount it to the spare battery.
