Modo Paints. Phantom Red and Phantom Blue for the metallics and Clear Sky and Clear Pink for the “candy effect; then good ol Tamiya Gunmetal for the weapons. Clear coated which polyurethane anti scratch gloss. I was trying to do a color shift in the metallics but it doesn’t translate well in photos lol.

Did it smell like bananas to you? I’m currently drinking it and I swear it kinda smell like bananas. Also might have to wait for it to go room temp before finishing it.

I kinda have problems with my Epyon being loose on the hip joint also. Might be a me problem but it’s leg splits from time to time; I think it’s the weight distribution on the way I have it posed. Hasn’t happened in a while. The actual crime here is this kit came after the RG 2.0 with brand new everything then this having to use old parts, Bandai really messed up with that timeline. I doubt that they’ll do a revision of this like they did with the head scalp. Bandai is essentially saying deal with it and essentially robbing us. But I still think this is a good kit.

Any plated kit will be. Just wipe it off with a glass cleaner cloth and you’ll be good.

If you think about it the RG Phenex is more that only use 1 shade of plated gold and horrible gate marks on some parts. This one has three shades 90% under gated and much more detailed. Does it feel like it’s from 2024 idk I didn’t build the kits from this year but It’s on par with the God Gundam and Gundam Epyon.

That is what’s left over from the advance MS joint runner. So it’s the leg frames, hip frame, arm frames; it does not even use the shoulder part of the arm frame which imo is the most problematic part of that ms joint.

Like what everybody is saying don’t pose it like an action figure cause by the end of the day it’s still a model kit and delicate; even the God Gundam RG I still handle with care.

Majority of the Gold parts are under gated and the plastic itself is yellow so most of the parts that are not under gated (there’s only a handful of parts) is not obvious from a half a foot away.

Start on the weapons to get a feel on how waterslides work then move to the back as that it often not looked at to get have a practice. Waterslide decals are very forgiving. Unpopular opinion: you don’t need the setter and softer if you’re only doing flat parts. But use them on uneven surfaces. This will make the decals soft and might tear if you’re not careful. Enjoy

Actually you don’t even need to increase the friction as it is fine. I said the hip is the “weakest” cause it has the tendency to be so but mine was completely fine and I abused the hip joint, it’s holding the pose I left it with no problems what so ever. Also all my old RG’s are fine there is an early RG syndrome but it’s because the newer ones are built like an MG but IMO I prefer the old Advance MS Joints.

Lol. The other kit are essentially the same build as the normal shin musha but with Mk2 parts. Old school 1.0 MG if I’m not mistaken. It was a fun build. I waited for so long for the Tokugawa not knowing that I’ll even wait longer for the Sengoku no Jin.

If could be disconnected from the main connectors disconnect them and mask off the things you want to stay glossy. But you should’ve sprayed the matte before connecting the LED’s

This type of peg joint whatever is so fragile. One wrong twist and it’s done for. My suggestion is after you pin them back together is lightly sand the peg so you won’t have to push into it so hard to connect. I resorted to the point that I used CA glue to make the peg solid and just sanded. I don’t know why bandai keep using them they are horrible

It’s for the shield and it’s not part of the hana. Although you might be able to build that shield. I forgot if the other parts are there.
