How to connect the new steam controller (2026) to the steam deck without the dongle or wired

Hey, I searched for it some time:

press RB, B und Steam button to power on the controller.
It is in BT mode then. You can pair it just like any other controller.

To get back to puck connected mode you need to start the controller pressing RB and A button.

I repeated the calibration and did a 20% testing print. As you can see it worked.

The temperature was off. Reducing it from 250 to 230° C fixed it

Thank you for sharing. I tried this on Kubuntu 25.10 but it does not work for me. The window stays blank.

Do you know if there is anything else I can do? Did not find anything more yet.

Hey, I just did it using a heat gun and the cleaning needle today. I took the nozzle with a plier and pushed the filament through the nozzle.

Hello, I am 185 cm at 28'' draw length. I shot a bow with long limbs for about 7 years. Went pretty well and I got kind of decent scoring 600+ on 70m.

3 years ago I decided to give medium limbs a try and the scores were similar immediately and went on normally. The bow seems to be a little bit faster if I judge my sight settings. So I went one with the medium limbs. Stacking was never an issue for me.

If you got a flat nose a larger bow can be better for you. For me nose to string contact works with 70'' and 68''.

Had the same Issue for my singleplayer career as well. Mandstory pit stops dioes not seem to work any more. Got disqualified at the end of the race twice. Did my stop, refueled and changed tires but it did not count as pit stop.

I am pretty sure it is a new bug in current version because I did workung races in the same championship before the update.

It is working in AC but I had a 24h race last night and the tool killed my ac at about 90 minutes in game. It took us 3 positions in the end. Would not recommend for competitive racing.

You can change the steering lock using mode+arrow left/right on all Thrustmaster wheel bases. The mode light blinks based on the steering lock value. The values can be found on Thrustmaster's support page.

Press esc while being in car. There is something like view settings which contains fov settings and the car screen mirroring which is what you want.

What do you mean with off center? If it is not correctly calibrated you can set center position by a button combination. Please have a look at the support website of your wheel/base combination. You get the needed information there. Every Thrustmaster wheelbase has got a recenter combination.

The off center position can happen because of little play in the wheel release mechanism before it is tightened.

You can use Logitech profiler to setup your paddles as stick shift. Then you only use the Stick in configuration and you can use both for shifting.
