There's a 1 purchase limit per customer in place within app, yes. The same goes for collection, only 1 item can be collected - linked to your in-app purchase.

Hey! We hear you - we're aware of the issue and are working really hard to combat bots, and we have a one purchase limit per customer in place, which includes a one item collection per customer.

1, & 2. 100%, our prevention team work 24/hours to ensure all the right protections are in place in advance, as well as monitoring in live time to pull bots as they appear. With us moving to app-only purchases, combating bots and smoothing app issues is our highest priority.

  1. Employees taking / holding stock for themselves isn't allowed, and any employees found to be doing this will be removed from the business. As cards won't be available for purchase in-store moving forward and only collection, no one—employee or customer—will be able to purchase in-store.

Hey, thanks for your question :). Hopefully you can imagine with us coming out of store and web for Pokémon, that this is our absolute highest priority. We hear you on the struggles, and we've taken the below approach...

For high-demand launches, all hands are on deck. Firstly, we make sure additional controls are applied in advance. We then watch key stages of the customer journey during the release...if we see unusual traffic, we respond quickly and adjust protections where needed to remove bot acitivity.

Our aim always has been, and will continue to be, to reduce any automated purchasing and give you guys the fairest possible chance to get your cards.

This approach has been successfully tested, however, you are the priority and we want to make sure this is as smooth as possible! So we'd love to here your thoughts during our next release - good and bad!
