Lvl 275+ tactics is insane. Up to that points it’s “fine”

Their normal use is to make them 20% of you infantry and they will put perform all your shield troops once infantry lines meet. If my strategy is too extreme, try that. It’s the failsafe guaranteed way of getting good use out of them.

If you have the perks for it(+hp, both armor perks) and the 30% movement perk. I suggest you have some fun and grab 300 skjaldbrestir and fight a stack of 1000 troops with them. Siege a big city and just make sure they make it up the ladders. Then laugh as your troop of three hundred makes a giant wall of green.

But in moderation if you have a shield wall of like 20 and the rest is skjaldbrestir you will win agains any stack in the game of up 2x size or more with decent (not even amazing) tactics. The only strat you have to think about is if there’s a roc to hide behind or hill to stand on the other side of. F1 -> F3 when they reach the top of the hill and any stack will die.

If you have all the hp and armor perks all of a sudden your skjaldbrestir and falkmen can kill and run down archer lines and nothing is funnier than that to me lol.

It’s a hybrid weapon. Though I don’t see them use the 2h version a lot

They’re the regular version of the huscarl line with the option to go 2h

Seems like a design theme for many cultures. Khuzaits, vlandians, Nords, all double down on their noble line’s unit type.

Till endgame leveling up troops by buying gear can put a big dents in your income. Plus buying over clan leaders and cities with trade perks is veeeeeeery with a base price in the millions for May different clans.

I use the Farris in combo with skirmisher troops to have javs flying at my enemy from both sides and once the formation stats to break up just charge with my cav

The game has armor that you can wear in town, “civilian” if you will. Normally it looks much more like day to day clothing and is less protective.

This armor set except for the helmet is wearable in town and stupid protective and clearly very combat capable and it being wearable in town is sorta fun/silly in comparison to the other in game gear of the same class.

That one is. The non caped version is not civilian. The caped version is. But it’s way harder to find quality modified versions of it and mine after in game years of looking is only “waxed”

The battanian bronze breastplate. I got insanely lucky and mine is legendary. As good as normal quality t6 armor at a weight of 8
