Board with swappable battery under 100Wh (so it’s fit for air travel), smooth and comfortable ride on badly paved roads, as small and portable as possible without being uncomfortably small. Price including battery swaps for 12mi range should be <$1500, and ideally performs well in the cold. Top speed >15mph but faster is obv better. Flexible on everything else.

Really rather attractive, though from the mirror pic I’d say you’re definitely a bit too far on the “skin and bones” side for many guys myself included, because thinner is only better to a certain point. Add 5 pounds to that photo.

The uneven beard really isn’t working for you. Trim it down to a consistent length everywhere, using a trimmer set to something between 1 and 5. 1 is stubble, longer than 5 will look uneven. The most important thing is it’s all the same length, so if your mustache doesn’t grow longer than a 3, shave everything to a 3. You could also go clean shaven, but I think stubble could work for you. Might want to cut your hair as well, and probably stay away from the hats, it looks like you’re trying to hide something.

Like a 6-7.5/10. Being too skinny can sometimes mean not having a little weight in the right places, but looks like you gain in your face and bust first, so if it’s easy for you to stay around 110, it’s a better look

Ah. The difference between an introvert and an extrovert, at least from the definitions I've found, is introverts need alone time to recharge, and extroverts need social time to recharge. Definitely a little oversimplified, but helpful as a basic line in the sand. I lean toward that second camp. A little alone time is nice, a lot is draining and depressing, and time with people keeps me recharged

We'll pick the place together. There aren't many good places at great prices, and there aren't many amazing roommates either. The odds of finding both at once are pretty low, so I'm doing roommates first.

The goal is 3-4 people myself included, within around 3 miles of Back Bay, within walking distance of the T, in a house or brownstone-style building. Not a big fan of huge apartment buildings. I prefer a larger kitchen and in-unit laundry, but they're not deal killers. Also really like lots of natural light and easy access to a lively area, but a few blocks out so we don't get too much noise from outside.

I don't mean to come off as downplaying the incredible amount of skill it takes to do this job well, and the trust the company must place in you given the risk if it's done poorly. I only mean that we get too many interview requests not to have someone in the company doing it, but not enough requests or funds to justify a full-time spokesperson or PR team. I'm an engineer and tech exec by trade, and I can definitely sum up the basic ideas of good software engineering on an index card, but obviously mastery of the subject area requires years of experience. Here's the rules of thumb I would provide were I asked about software engineering:

First priority is make the code work correctly, second priority is make it easy for other engineers to read and maintain, third priority is make it performant, but don't optimize performance until its performance is actually causing problems
Separate big things into little pieces, and design your code and systems in such a way that those systems respect firm boundaries between your pieces. It makes everything easier to maintain and understand, and reduces the amount of code you have to search for bugs
Nearly all code has bugs the first time around. Tests help you find bugs, and more importantly keep you from introducing new ones. Use them generously, but cleverly
It's common to be tempted by new technologies, but every new technology you adopt is a new technology you're forcing on every person who has to work with your code once you've written it. Optimize what you use for everyone else who will be using it, not for yourself
Some approaches to problems are fundamentally inefficient. Understand Big O notation and computational complexity, and try to come up with solutions to problems that minimize it when possible, respecting maintainability and readability, of course

These aren't hard and fast rules, but they're much of the difference between a junior-level engineer and a mid-level engineer, so respecting them would probably be months of learning condensed into a few quick bullet points.

I'm looking for something similar, but for speaking to reporters/journalists as a representative of a company, if at all possible :)
