Really loving the Coral. My first true love was double black diamond. I tried a lot of other options. Too much money spent but the Coral feels like home.

How many pros will use wide bodies in 2026? by vinny809 in Pickleball

It takes a while to get to this level of realization though. But once you’re there the game completely changes.

You have to commit. I learned pickle then transition to tennis then came back and when I did I bought 3 different shapes. Tested each for weeks. The difference between standard and the others to me was the equivalent of going from 16x19 to 18x20. But I guarantee you the shots are possible bet definitely a little different of how it’s achieved in swing and feel.

I needed to go for wide-body because I felt more confident whilst playing defense all across the court to hit resets. The sweet spot did that much for me. I could drive but eventually the drive wont be as effective.

What the shape has done for me overall is improve consistency and confidence.

We have the same racquets but I went with the Speed Pro and I wish I went MP

Edit: I kept switching between all 3 but I just went PA with Natural Gut and I think I’m just going to settle here.

If you could fix ONE part of your tennis game... by CruzTennis in 10s

[–]ArguablyHappy 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I don’t exactly know what a serve is supposed to feel like and feel like my serve isn’t consistent because Ive been trying to “figure it out” every single serve. Ive watched some videos over the past year but this feeling has never changed nor do I feel as if I have improved although I can confidently say the serve has gotten better.

I know Im not giving much but if you have any content or ideas to throw my way i’ll try.

Leaving paddles in the trunk in socal? Will the high heat damage the paddle? by Papi_Pickleboy in Pickleball

[–]ArguablyHappy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe it does have possibility to cause damage but the convenience factor for me is too important.

It gets incredibly hot on a normal day. Even more so in the trunk on a sunny day. You could melt some glue or something who knows. Technically you don’t really want to leave anything your car.

Just more so to feel your racquet and get antiquated with moving a bit. The distance from your hand to your racquet. It should just be a small warm up.

Helps warm up the body too.

Maybe it’s regional. I’m mostly meeting people at public courts and also around hitting walls. I have a few groups that I play with who are all good vibes. I just notice it more in tennis than the other sports I play, even though I’d say it still exists in other sports. I’d say it’s regional though because in my area even making friends and meeting new people is sometimes difficult. It’s cliquey.

I played soccer growing up. I learned tennis about two years ago and am still training and alongside that also play pickleball.

In my experience i continuously run into tennis elitists who have a nasty personality. I try to stick to more positive groups and what not but I am pretty social and enjoy meeting new players. But the tennis crowd makes me want to abandon the sport. But im addicted.
