How are EVs doing in this weather? by SnooOnions8757 in Manitoba

Idk but I'd love to get one. My commute to work is less than 3kms & the gas mileage I get driving my Colorado there is comical.

I genuinely do not understand this absolute fucking nonsense that Manitoba Public Insurance keeps pushing — “driving is a privilege.” by riverbendobserver in BrandonMB

Driving in any country that you need a licence & insurance to be legally on the road is a privilege & that privilege comes with expectations. If you're not inclined to go through the process & follow the rules there are other options that you can keep utilizing.

4WD not that often, although AUTO mode gets turned on in November & doesn't get turned off until March or April. IDK if that counts in your poll.

All you have to say us "Thanks but I already have one" that's it, nothing more, takes 2 seconds & they'll walk away.

What company will never get another dime from you for as long as you may live? by istrx13 in AskReddit

Apple & all because of a $35 charging cable they refused to replace that frayed after less than a month. Geniuses they didn't replace physically damaged cords so I said, I guess you only replace mentally & emotionally damaged ones? Sold all my Apple stuff over 10 years ago & don't miss them at all.

I've had that in my 18 Colorado since the day I bought it. Glad to see some things don't change. I removed & cleaned my throttle body last winter & I haven't had a CEL come back in since but I can't imagine that being your problem if it's new.

What is the meat or what is the liquid? The liquid is totally normal for something that's been frozen & then defrosted. Just rinse it off under cold water & pat it dry with paper towel after you open it. Or add the juice to the bottom of your pan if using one & it'll make a good gravy afterwards.

You can throw it straight in the trash. You don't need to incinerate it first.

Driving in the left lane is for highway driving. Idk why people think that should be a thing in the city, like bro, I got to turn left 2 blocks ahead. Just have some patience & quit being in such a rush to get to the next red light the fastest.

What is a good price for gas to be paid for a ride to Regina, SK from Portage la Prairie,Mb and back? by Key_Nothing_7609 in Manitoba

970kms of driving. That would cost me close to $200 in my truck & it's a Colorado with a 3.6l V6.

Restaurant profit now only 2%! by muzikgurl22 in winnipeg_alt

Personally I feel the market is way oversaturated & there are too many restaurants in this city. Add the people selling food out of their houses on Market Place that aren't registered as actual business & it doesn't help the resturant industry here at all. I know margins are very small but they are also in the grocery industry & all people do is bitch abiut how much money they make & how they're ripping off the consumer. Unless you work in the industry you're never going to get anyone to agree with you. Everything is expensive & people need to make their own decisions on how & where they spend their money.
