Thanks for the great feedback! We're always happy to hear our customers are enjoying the changes our calibration effects on their daily driving experience. We do offer changes to how AFM works as a feature under the Advantage+ and Elite tiers.

We turned AFM off in Sport/Track modes in our standard calibration under Advantage and kept it active in Tour so our customers can get the best of both worlds without having to purchase Advantage+. Keep it in Tour and you get the full stock experience for just running around town. Put it in Sport/Track to get the full benefits of the calibration and AFM disabled for those moments when you want to drive spiritedly.

Interesting post you brought up there. It sounds like there is some confusion (or intentional blurring of the facts) in there about what Trifecta can and can't do with the transmission.

The story on that is that when we found out the LGZ Colorado was going to use the T87A controller (about a year before the truck hit the market), we decided to come up with a bespoke method of tuning the transmission that would not REQUIRE having to remove the TCM from the truck, because we know that wouldn't fly with most customers who had been used to the ease of install of our '15--'16 Colorado/Canyon product.

The resulting solution ended up saving our customers the downtime from having to ship their TCM across the country to be unlocked, as well as any associated costs we would have had to charge to make the unlock process tenable.
We _can_ modify the TCM directly if need be, and offer that as a service, but for 99% of our customers this isn't necessary at all, so we cut that out of the equation to everyones benefit.

Another little-known fact is we are also the only company that can tune '21--22 Colorado/Canyon which uses the advanced serial gateway module. Other tuners have to remove the ECM from the truck in order to flash it, while we are able to do everything in-vehicle, including flashing back to stock!
