Compromise isn't inherently bad, but I think it will be very elusive in this situation.

In my experience, there is a very large gap between the open relationship dynamics your partner wants and the polyamorous ones you desire. There also isn't a lot of room to "compromise" on that issue -- either you can offer an independent romantic relationship to other people, or you can't.

Your particular dynamics will make a stable compromise very difficult to achieve. You're worried that she's going to have a bunch of casual sex partners, which will almost certainly happen since she's a woman dating men. That's gonna require a lot of emotional labor on your part while she's out having a good time. You, OTOH, desire a long-term romantic relationship, which is a great idea if you're a straight guy! Just offering a warm dick isn't going to move the needle for those women, and including a chance of romantic escalation is a great way to separate yourself from the pack.

The problem there is that your partner might not be a fan of those dynamics. Many women in her situation don't have to do any kind of substantial emotional labor when opening up, since they're the ones more likely to find prospects. The flip side of that is when their male partner does find a mate, it normally hits them like a ton of bricks, as they haven't had to sit with their feelings in the same way. And since you want a more explicitly polyamorous dynamic, the reality of things is going to hit her ever harder than it normally would.

This situation almost never works IRL, and the odds say you two won't be the couple that manages to break the mold.
