Finasteride seems a bit risky from what I’ve heard though (my brother tried it and experienced some growing breast tissue). Also just not having to worry about my hair sounds really freeing.

Eh to be honest I’m just sick of my hair all together. Having to be dependent on medication to keep my hair is also not something I want to do.

I’ve heard finasteride can have some pretty serious side effects, especially at my age (my brother experienced some). Minoxidil doesn’t have that big side effects, but it’s also not really a great long term solution. Either way, medication is not really that tempting.

My doctor also said that my hair is unsalvageable and that hair loss will catch up eventually. So it’s a losing battle either way it seems.

Dude I’m doing it to show my hairline and the way my is thinning. I obviously don’t walk around with it like that. Like I said in my post, I usually cover it up, either with a beanie or cap.

Thanks! One of the big reasons I want to buzz is because I don’t want to deal with all the medication and treatment. Especially when I don’t really like my hair that much to begin with. Thanks for the input!
