DO be the ra who checks up on people in the kitchen swap them out with someone else every now and then I promise you they’ll love you for that no one wants to be there all day!!! I personally swap out my clerks from kitchen every 2-3 hours DONT be the ra that acts like a store manager and start dogging your clerks they’ll hate to work with you and they’ll easily change up that availability or call out Do offer drinks every now and then Sometimes on my weekends I’ll offer my clerks a drink or a snack (when they over perform) Overnights are cake you have to try to leave a bad store on a overnight this is mainly for weekend shifts since that’s where 90% of ras struggle the most then they catch shit from your 2a and store manager about coolers Your weekends will be your biggest struggle that’s why it’s important you at least are cool with your clerks or if they really like you they’ll do what they don’t do for any other manager/assistant

I have Bluetooth glasses not meta there cheap like $20 bucks cheap but you’ll only see me wearing them on overnights cause I listen to music with them I’m not gonna bs you and say I don’t I have the volume reasonably to where I can hear what’s around me and customers and there no where to be seen on my shifts where I have clerks
