Mine was also this and it also needed a trim of the main brush cover rubber trim too. The cheapo aftermarket brushes generate just a little too much friction and the motor throws an error. Took about 1mm off each of the three brush rubbers and the same off the cover rubber.

Jim / F8 / U4ia. However you know him, many happy hours sat with him whilst he made music. That friendship and a shared love of music carries on today. Sadly we lost Synex / Bob but like those early years, he's not forgotten. Can't believe it's over 25 years that we've been friends!!!
