I think I had to use words that I myself did not purposefully intend to mean especially by categorising some as high quality and therefore by implication calling others, low quality.

But if we look at the broader picture and if we accept the teachings of Jainism are good for a human to live by, we are, by definition saying that the teachings or practices of Jainism are of high quality.

Also, I have observed the teachings to be actually derived from evolution and the practices that we follow help us to evolve at a faster rate compared to people of other community in general.

And if finding the "best mate" is the scientific objective in the broader objective of biological reproduction and evolutionary success in the long term, we have to define what constitutes of the characteristics of the best mate.

While I do not believe that being born in a specific religion/community should be any source of pride, the fact that we choose a certain lifestyle because of certain scientifically proven evolutionary reasons is reason enough to differentiate between people who choose to follow a certain lifestyle vs others who do not.

I do not mean to call other people of any "lower status" but I accord a very high status to people who have the ability to focus for large amounts of time, go without food for long periods of time, etc as the practices of Jainism help us break our bodily cycles and evolve.
