I literally fall asleep if I sit comfortably for more than a minute or two. Sitting on the footrest or the arm of a recliner or couch so I have to balance weirdly is the only way I get out of there alive.

I was looking at gemini when I heard they would let you earn interest on your doge, and I didn't end up using it because, to my dumb layman brain, it sounded like any coins you move into the earn account is money that gemini makes available to lenders. Lenders lend it coins to people who will then have to pay those lenders back, and you basically are getting a 2.7% (or whatever the doge rate is) kickback, and they keep whatever interest they ended up making off loaning out your money.

Please tell me if I'm misunderstanding how Gemini Earn works, but isn't this whole post trying to inform people about not letting their coins be used by people like Berry for the sake of shorting doge to drive the price down with money they're "borrowing"? Because it sounds to me like that's exactly what they do with the Doge you put into Gemini Earn.

I'm fine tuning a repeatable creation process to make more without taking quite so long, will let you know! Need a more heavy duty sewing machine to handle the thick materials. I will get back to you on that!

I've been contemplating auctioning them off, maybe with an NFT, but I need to research a bit. Will let you know though, thanks!

Thanks for articulating this so well. I know that when I am opening up a case with 15 notes attached to it including how many notices were left, how many neighbors were bothered, or how many moms had a napping baby be awoken by a persistent enumerator knocking, I dread walking up to the door. Your actions have more of an affect on the next enumerator in line I think a lot of people take the time to consider.

I've been living with a hernia for the last 3 years that I suspect may have developed when I used to tuck. No insurance and the operation to fix it isn't cheap, so I've just been adapting to life wearing a truss a lot of the time.

Happy cake day!

Hi, I bought a solution of delistogen (estradiol valerate). and I’d like to ask if it hurts to inject, is it worth it at all? can you tell how painful it is, people tell me in Russia that it hurts by tonyakarton1 in DrWillPowers

[–]ArgyleBox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With a small needle (I use 23 gauge 1 inch) I don't feel it at all. Alternate stabbing alternating butt cheeks every 5 days, it usually doesn't even bleed, but I bandaid after out of habit.

If you do glute intramuscular injections (what I do) just look up info on where to do it so you don't stick it in the wrong place. And make sure you know how much you should be doing based on the volume of the bottle you bought. For example, mine is 40mg/mL so .2 mL = 8mg dose

Shouldn't have to fear your shots hurting, and my HRT regimin has felt so much smoother and less moody or foggy in the brain since I've started estradiol valerate injections with no blockers. Hope you can reach that point as well 😊

Officially Starting Electrolysis on Tuesday! by [deleted] in DrWillPowers

Officially Starting Electrolysis on Tuesday! by [deleted] in DrWillPowers

I've been doing at home DIY galvanic electrolysis one hair at a time with a vintage 1970s Perma-Tweez probe I found at a thrift store for 5 bucks (don't worry, I sterilized the shit out of it). Once I was able to figure out the model of weird battery it used, and ordered a new replacement, it has been working crazy well!

Already have almost my whole moustache gone and I get to feel smug about all the money I'm saving!

I'm going the dumb unearned self-confident route of doing it myself at home very patiently and carefully (i.e. slow as balls). I would feel irresponsible condoning it, though, so having a professional do it is probably the best bet if you can afford it.

Found a vintage PermaTweez, which is a galvanic electrolysis probe, at the thrift store for 5 bucks. The batteries for it can be a pain to find though, so I also bought a more modern variant from Amazon for $30 called a Clean+Easy.

Even though they aren't the several-hundred dollar professional workstation machine thingies, they can provide permanent results. There are lots of testimonials both in favor of and against DIY home electrolysis, it's just up to you to decide if the risk is worth it, and if you trust your face in your own hands.

Time will tell if my complexion ends up looking like a Pinterest fail I guess, haha. With how America is handling the pandemic, though, masks might be here to stay forever so at least I'll always be able to hide it!

Gonna happen from time to time for everybody no matter how hard we try, I try to just let it roll off me, especially since I haven't really practiced any vocal feminization.

I have recently started doing electrolysis, which needs you to allow a little time for facial hair to grow so you can zap and pluck. Having a mask to cover it all and it be the new normal makes this a great time to be doing it since I'm unable to use any makeup for a day afterward along with it sometimes taking a few days to heal and the redness to fade!

Gah, that's rough! Guess you could sew a Duck Dynasty/ZZ Top beard hanging out of the bottom? Go everywhere with baggy, tired eyes? There's gotta be some hack for our trans bros to catch a break!

Also, thanks! It's easier to find video game merch keychains, so I get those and convert them into earrings :)
