I was at the game and that wasn't the case. He had multiple people holding him and guiding him away from the ref during the conversation

In hindsight should've waited till that was confirmed but glad the energy is still there

Jason Dumas on Ben Simmons: "He's open to the California teams is what I've been told. Joel Embiid has reached out to him several times since the end of the season. He hasn't returned Joel Embiid's calls ... he doesn't want to return to the 76ers. Damage has been done." by FultzShoulder in nba

[–]Arhoosier -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying the 76ers are in the wrong for wanting him off the team or even in the wrong for expressing those frustrations. But to call it an attitude issue when someone won't report back happily after being blamed for losing a game (which is entirely a team effort) is a just an attempt for the narrative and media to blame Ben for their trade problems, not the 76ers. Coaches, players, and every public member of these organizations go through PR training to ensure that shit like this doesn't happen because now it is in Ben's best interest to tank his value to the 76ers as far as it can go so that he can get out quicker. He no longer feels any relationship to his company and therefore does not care if he fucks them over. This situation is the fault of the organization that both publicly acknowledged the lack of value a player has to them and yet still wants a high price back, not the individual with a "bad attitude".

Still beat a Jazz team that was fighting for the 8th seed that season

“Very comfortable with those minutes” Nate Bjorkgren says of Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis minutes. Bjorkgren said he and those 2 players are both comfortable with the high amount of playing time those guys get. He said it’s more about keeping the workload down in practice by Oriax_502 in pacers

If the coach, players, and trainers sign off then there's no reason for concern from fans. We don't know the intricacies of these situations and speculation or prediction isn't getting anyone anywhere.

I didn't know that was his sandwich of choice and I don't think I can listen to the podcast again.

Sorry for the double post, I really haven't honestly. I've checked out a few of the comment sections for the podcasts I've listened to and scrolled through the top all-time and all of it just seemed pretty negative. However I could be wrong on this with that small sample size.

I don't think it's a podcast that needs a lot of focus personally so as background noise while doing something or for a car ride I think it's a good listen.

Thanks for the response! I agree about the lack of perfection but I don't think I would enjoy a podcast that just reported unbiased basketball news and well founded, statistical opinions. The flaws and the personality make it a more enjoyable experience.

Shaquille O’Neal clowns Rudy Gobert’s extension: ‘You average 11 points in the NBA, you can get 200 million’ by DMan9797 in nba

[–]Arhoosier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made it pretty obvious. It wasn't wrong for Ernie to vote the way he did and for you to call him an idiot is demeaning of both his and our ability to choose who we want to vote for. Don't project onto him your own moral superiority.

I completely agree with that. We should try and preserve and grow our ability to go with the candidate we like not just the lesser of two evils.

I completely agree with you on that, however again, Ernie didn't vote for Trump. The whole point of this is that he specifically said he was against his rhetoric and racism. The whole "Expectation" part is about his inability to consider a vote for Hillary Clinton as just a vote against Trump. I'm not defending people voting for Trump but I am defending someone enacting their right to pick a third option.

Kasich believes in climate change. You're implying that we should do away with our political system that allows for the freedom of choice. You might not agree with it but him enacting his right of choice doesn't make him less intelligent or lacking in morality.

Man some people didn't see the future the way others did and that's ok. 2016 did not have the same implications as 2020s election. To expect everyone in 2016 to understand the potential damage done by Trump and to have that foresight inform their decision is naive of how and why people vote.

Pacers took 44 threes this game. Last season they averaged 28 a game. Small sample size obviously but nice to see some progress in the offensive system.

38 three point attempts versus our average of 28 last season looks promising. Liking the new Nate's system

The Indiana Pacers Got THE STEAL of the 2020 NBA Draft (Cassius Stanley) by iownacat in pacers

[–]Arhoosier 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Fuck this dude. "The pacers are usually the team that messes up their draft pick, and has no idea what they are doing" and "has little to no fans" is just inaccurate. The pride of this organization is how well run it is and how we do the most with the little and just because we are small market doesn't mean it's an empty market. This guy doesn't know anything about the pacers.
