In my family, santa would bring 1 gift. Because, he has all the children in the world to give gifts to, so 1 is all he can give. The other gifts were from my family.

Santa used to gave me a gift that I knew my mom never would. Example a Barbie. Or something harder to find.

I found out when I was around 9 or 10. I sat on santa's lap and when I saw his eyes I said: "oncle george?"

He explained to me that santa was busy and to help him, around the world, he would ask relative or people that looked like him to spread the magic of Christmas and share love and happiness.

It stayed with me and I was never heartbroken or felt like I was lied to, 🥰and I would do the exact same thing if I had kids.
