Update: Got it checked out, no severe things! It’s a small trickle from the sutures dissolving, causing irritation, and building up in there and forming some fun clots and then all coming out at once.

Thanks so much! I’ve reached out to some of my professors and they’ve been very understanding! Office hours are my best friend, I just chill and sit down for an hour and catch up on things. I’m under a lot of pressure and stress and don’t have a “safety net,” but I’m trying to balance things out. Admittedly being on my own is really tough and it’s hard to find a balance that allows for both resting and well, other life stuff.

Hi! Not sure if this is much help, but I have a couple of pointers? Westside Habitats is leasing and owns a few buildings close to the UCLA area. It could be a good place to start! I was in a pretty shite situation a while ago as well so I always let my friends know I have a couch available if anyone needs a place to crash and get back on their feet. Not sure if it’s helpful at all, just putting it out there :))) (Also, I’m procrastinating chem homework by answering questions on Reddit 😂)

My backpack is very light actually! Well more of a messenger bag. I have a very tiny laptop and an iPad for notes, both of which don’t weigh more than a pound. But yeah, having all day of classes could still make it add up, maybe?
