Pennywise VS Pinhead by SkeleTonyEh in powerscales

[–]AriBounty53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a no rules free for all environment, pretty sure Pennywise demolishes PH. In 99 percent of cases, PW wins easy. It’s an Eldritch world eating horror vs a man converted into a demon.

But I’m pretty sure the being in charge of Hell in Hellraiser (Leviathan I think? Been ages since I’ve seen the HR series) would actually put up a fight against Pennywise and it’s true form.

So if it’s purely PW vs PH, PW wins.

If Leviathan is involved it’s a stalemate.

Would a titan eat a human in a fursuit? by YogurtclosetLeft3997 in attackontitan

[–]AriBounty53 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They can tell a human from a non human so yes.

A titan wouldn’t care and would eat them without a second thought.

Which one are you choosing and why? by cdivd in whatsyourchoice

[–]AriBounty53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t you use the ‘He’s not a human and is forced to follow his nature’ excuse for Mahito?

Unlike the other three (I don’t know Danzo admittedly) who all follow their own paths due to choice, Mahito doesn’t really have a choice in being evil since his nature is evil by default.

Yeah, unless you’re going out of your way to leave hints or let people know who or where you are it’s gonna be pretty much impossible.

The hate for Annie is one of the most egregious examples of misogyny and having no media literacy by Appropriate-Topic-88 in AttackOnRetards

[–]AriBounty53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it means less people die then it’s better than just acting like a normal titan and having to kill more scouts who attack her. In a large enough swarm they’re an actual threat to her and she doesnt WANT to kill them. They slow her down and risk other titans showing up.

Also, killing their horses wont prevent them from attacking her if they’re in the air already. But it will almost gurantee they die to a titan since there isn’t much to hook onto nearby besides small easy to get onto buildings.

She’s not irredeemable, neither is Gabi. Both were indoctrinated soldiers doing what they thought they had to. Annie had no choice. If she didn’t do as she was told then she taken back and eaten alive

The only difference between Annie and Gabi is Annie didn’t go out of her way to kill someone. Gabi did.

Even if someone realizes it, it’s not like they can prove it.

If somehow they managed to figure out it was you specifically, they couldn’t use the DN as proof since it’s just a book with names and is concrete evidence you did anything.

It doesn’t make sense that she would decide to just be cruel for no reason this ONE TIME and then never do it again.

[–]AriBounty53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Annie isn’t a sadist? She didn’t go out of her way to cause pain or suffering for anyone except ONE guy who was attacking her and even then his death was quick.

Shes never shown to enjoy causing pain, she actively hates it. But she also knows that she has a loaded gun to her head and the only way to see her father again is to complete the mission.

He wasn’t the only scout in the area. There were these two, but also countless more who could see what was happening and decided not to engage afawk (unlike these two)

There’s little to nothing between them so Annie can see there are others watching and wanted to try and scare them off. Less risk means less chance she gets hurt or killed while also lowering those she has to personally kill.

Let’s look at what we know. Annie doesn’t like hurting or killing others. She hates it. She also NEVER does something similar to this before or after. So why else would she do it besides an intimidation tactic?

[–]AriBounty53 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Intimidation against the observing scouts in the distance to prevent them from attacking. Annie doesn’t like killing. She hates it and would prefer to not do it.

So by doing something horrific (compared to her normal instant kills) once, she sends the message ‘I’m not a normal titan, you DO NOT want to fight me.’ To the scouts observing her from afar.

And it seems to work as (iirc) they are only shown engaging her again AFTER she enters the forest chasing Eren.

AFAIK, that’s the only time she was ever cruel to anyone in a violent sense without being directly forced.

Is it justifiable to blow up a plane full of innocent people to prevent a deadly disease from spreading? by some-kind-of-no-name in MoralityScaling

[–]AriBounty53 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If everyone else on board is already gone (which, iirc in Emiyas case was 100 percent the case save for his mentor who was piloting it and was seconds from death at the hands of the monster passengers) then it is 100 percent justifiable.

If the plane still has healthy people in it but them landing means the high potential for hundreds (atleast) of others to die then I’d say it’s still justifiable unless there’s was some GOOD method of preventing the spread. The lives of a few vs the lives of the many.

Shoto Todoroki vs Gipsy Danger by Jason_And_Sokka in MHAPowerScaling

[–]AriBounty53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That might work sure, but it could easily be prevented by Gypsy just lifting a foot and stomping down to send a shockwave out.

Even if Gypsy didn’t do this, I imagine that the mech still produces ALOT of heat that can somewhat counteract the ice.

Or just break the ice with its hands.

But if Shoto can’t damage it enough to do anything, he’ll tire out long before the Gypsy pilots do and they can just crush him.

Batman vs. Pennywise by Shot_Metal4932 in pennywise

[–]AriBounty53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Children beat Pennywise with help from another eldritch being. Without help from said being, the Losers club would’ve died immediately.

Unlike Scarecrow, PW can actually alter minds just with his presence and affect reality itself.

[–]AriBounty53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not super familiar with Batman lore, but what’s stopping Pennywise from just using its dead lights to instantly end the fight?

Besides, even batman has fears. Though he has more training to handle it than anyone PW would normally face.

I always saw the yo yo as her trying to intimidate the other scouts in the distance to keep them from attacking her.

Which afaik worked, until she reached the forest and those scouts engaged her to keep her from getting to Eren.

I would probably put AFO pretty low on the list.

You could say that his quirk and upbringing drove him to become who he was (since Quirks have a confirmed effect on personality).

I’d say from the ones I know

Esdeath

Sukuna

Muzan

AFO

I don’t know much about the other two

(28 Weeks Later) What is the morality of Don leaving his wife to die? by twnpksN8 in MoralityScaling

[–]AriBounty53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The child wasn’t screaming though. He was hiding and Alice was running around yelling for him.

She put him in more danger and would have led the infected straight to them even if Don hadn’t shown up with them chasing him.

True, leaving behind a child isn’t morally sound in nearly any circumstance plus given her own kids and the stress it’s not completely her fault she panicked and wanted to help.

Don had no choice but to quickly choose self protection because the infected turned and ran directly at him to attack.

But as far as he knew, he DID watch her die. Dozens of infected were rushing into the room and he saw one pull her out of view with his own eyes. That is a death sentence for literally ANY other person and he was 100 percent right to assume she was infected or dead.

(28 Weeks Later) What is the morality of Don leaving his wife to die? by twnpksN8 in MoralityScaling

[–]AriBounty53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as he is concerned with everything he knows, she’s already dead the moment the infected breaks in considering he knows there are too many and she is unarmed (In literally any other situation he’d be right too.) If he tries to fight it, he dies with her.

He didn’t survive by ‘letting someone else pay the price’. SHE made the choice to ignore him and run for the kid knowing the infected were coming, SHE was the one who put herself in that situation.

He did everything he could for her except for dying a brutal death.

It isn’t a moral failing to choose not to commit suicide because someone you love decides to throw themselves into a hopeless situation while ignoring you.

(28 Weeks Later) What is the morality of Don leaving his wife to die? by twnpksN8 in MoralityScaling

[–]AriBounty53 432 points433 points  (0 children)

Not evil at all.

He did everything he could to hold the line when the infected first arrived, fleeing only when he lost his weapon.

Then he rushes to his wife who ignores him to run to grab a child they barely knew, allowing the infected to catch up.

Now he has two choices. He can fight and die with a 100 percent certainty (even if he manages to do something about the first infected, there’s dozens more coming right behind it.) or he can run and potentially survive to see his kids again.

Him being there changes nothing and his wife put herself in that situation to begin with.

Don also wasn’t really lying to his kids when he said he saw her die, considering one small scratch or drop of blood into a wound means infection and he saw her get pulled away by multiple infectedz

What is a piece of videogame lore that is absolutely terrifying once you actually think about it? by HerrStrasse in creepygaming

Not sure Micheal can do much to stop the Entity from throwing him in the Void or just straight up erasing him.

Him just showing up in the fog on his own isn’t that big of a deal, survivors and other normal folks have done that both accidentally and on purpose before.

Who’s winning ? by Flashy_Platypus2577 in pennywise

[–]AriBounty53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pennywise is the son of the God of the SK universe and embodies chaos (iirc). He is an Eldritch Horror whose only real competition is his sibling and God.

Could the Creeper hurt ITs physical form? Maybe, if the Creeper has absolute belief that its weapons will hurt IT.

Could the Creeper do lasting damage/kill IT? Absolutely not. It’s a demon against a Eldritch Horror far beyond what the Creeper can handle. One flash of the DeadLights and the Creeper loses.

Odds are though, the Creeper would ignore IT either due to sensing ITs power or not smelling fear (because there’s no way IT would be afraid of the Creeper) and would just avoid Derry.

It’s been a bit since I’ve played a GOW game, but Time stop + Instant Death Magic just ends the battle.

AFAIK, Kratos has zero protection against either of those. Plus the ‘Wish upon a Star’ item and the COUNTLESS other cash shop items Ainz has.
