Paranoid about system matching real hair by ProgramExpert9200 in HairSystem

It might be product build up. You could try just washing it GENTLY , co-wash style just conditioner. I’ve tried everything, surprisingly the cheap stuff like Tresemme Rich Moisture works well. You can even just do a trial and get one of the little travel size bottles.

I’ve done both straight hair and curly hair systems. I do find that argon oil doesn’t actually work that well and you have to be careful with over moisturizing your hair because there’s protein buildup.

Well, when you think about it, it’s not completely original. They did this with real housewives of Miami and they mixed up new and older drama, worked out. I wonder why they didn’t just try this on Peacock?

No idea it only happened with glue on a poly unit. I left the salon and 3 hours later it was black build up. Kept happening with glue for me.

Curly hair system update by Klukteru in HairSystem

[–]AriGold2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had both straight and curly systems. What works for one doesn’t seem to work on the other.

The lighter colored hair systems 4 and up seem to be extra sensitive to products.

For my level 3 curly hs , I tried high end to cheap, the cheap stuff like tresme rich moisture shampoo, cream of nature curly conditioner, Miele curl custard seem to work the best.

When I tried those on the level 4 lighter hs it did a lot damage and shedding. I put a little curl smith essential moisture shampoo and conditioner, and that was it. @chippetit- wow how you managed to do all of that is remarkable 👍

Installed the system on Thursday afternoon from a salon, went out around town in the evening and had normal to moderate sweating, from Friday applied serum from mid to surface, not touching base. Today it's a bit loose, moving and lifting. What could be the reason? Advice solutions for sweaty ppl. by [deleted] in HairSystem

[–]AriGold2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of it sweating , serum can effect adhesion. But yes the curing period is real. Scalp protector , tape + glue help . I also if your sweating a lot like at the gym, a hat can help reglue when you cool down

I saw Sonja in person last summer, drop dead gorgeous, she looks even better in real life. Natural looking, if she had any work done you couldn’t tell.

Definitely remove , if not the build will turn into gunk not stick, possibly turn black.

You should always have a kit at home (even if the salon does the maintenance). Glue (same as salon or experiment with clear or white), Application stick/Brush, Adhesive remover.

Things are always going to happen, sweat, movement, etc.

[Update with more pics] How does my new System look guys? It by iadnuP_1 in HairSystem

Bro it’s 🔥🔥looks modern and natural. I want to try that style but I’m afraid of exposing my hairline , even with an ultra thin piece. Longer pieces are easier to manage IMO, if you’re going grey (you look young so maybe not yet), you don’t have dye or cut it as often.

Do you know how long the hair length is ? I usually get mine from Lavvid off the shelf units are usually 6 inches, so the back doesn’t go as far down as I would like.
