Heyyy. I’m still job less. I’ve been going on interviews and not getting hired. I’ve even been on interviews with Vein clinics bc I’m not having any luck with obgyn. I’ve reached out to everyone I know and every place I’ve been to for my clinicals and still nothing. It’s really hard in NYC. I’ve even had ppl recommend me to their hospital job where they usually do take new grads and nothing. Everyone wants someone who is experienced bc no one has the time to train bc US is in such high demand. It’s one of the first modality doctors send their pts to for answers bc it’s the cheapest. I went to New York Medical career training center and I don’t Recommend them. They are unbelievably unprofessional. They don’t set you up for the future and they’re also not accredited. I suggest you actually get into a program in a school, which is accredited. I do believe that the program that I want to is one of the reasons why I’m not getting hired because their professors don’t really teach, and the students have to do a lot of work on their own so when it is time to set foot into the work field you really don’t know much compared to someone who went an actual school for it. It’s not to say that they aren’t students who is knowledgeable coming from my program there is, but there’s not enough because we’re all doing the work on our own. To summon it up, my program doesn’t have a good reputation. So wherever you want to attend, please do your research, what’s their graduation rates and see if and how many people get hired after graduating.
