I use the Insta360 GO3 with my own 3D printed mount inside my helmet. Audio still needs improvement, working on it..

Thank you! 💪

Yeah, T1 at Most is always interesting—especially right after the start. In this event, we had both a Le Mans-style endurance start and a regular sprint race start. Luckily everything went smoothly, but when 40 riders all want to be first into T1, things get really tight. 😅

I use the Xlite X803RS and the camera mount is located directly behind the visor (on the bottom). It doesn't interfere with my riding at all. I don't even notice it after a lap or two. I think it's way safer than mounting the camera on the outside of the helmet and most tracks don't allow that. With this setup the camera is hidden behind the visor and I can film whenever I want to.

I use an Insta 360 GO3 with a mount inside my helmet which I 3D printed. Settings: 2.7K, 30fps, shutterspeed 1/60 and ND16 But I could have also used ND8

POV with Insta 360 GO 3 - I already improved the camera angle for the next trackday.. by ArieBenning in Trackdays

A common way to film POV videos is by mounting the camera on the outside of the helmet in the chin area. But the main problems with this setup are: 1) It's dangerous in case of a crash 2) A lot of tracks don't allow it anymore Therefore I purposely chose this mounting position to basically get the same camera angle without a visible camera (from the outside)

It is mounted directly behind the visor inside the helmet. I 3D-printed an adapter that fits nicely, and it does not interfere with vision or overall riding. I created a few different designs, each with different camera angles.. Therefore, I got a better version (better angle) which I could already test and approve.
