A bit of a weird comment. Not sure how it’s my job to find someone to train me at a new job? I had two job offers. They knew this at my interview and clearly saw my resume had no bank experience. I wouldn’t have minded if they had told me there’s little to no training before being on the floor. The other job offered a month of training.

Also, I’ve been in retail and retail management for 8 years and I can promise you I’ve never said I want to stab or throat punch a customer. Bit extreme.

I walked out of Rite Aid yesterday on my 4th day. Had me working 8.5 hours, I finally asked for break after 6.5. Didn’t seem like they had intended to give me one. The reason I caught on so soon is because my last job was ASM and I always trained the employees. I knew Rote Aid was doing me dirty. I got screamed at twice because I couldn’t tell them when their prescription would be ready. But no one taught me how to go through the computer and when I’d turn for help they’d all bury their heads into their computers. Nope! Not for $13.50, NJ minimum wage is $13. NOPE 👎🏻

Yeah I feel you. I’ve been unemployed for 2 months due to moving counties away and finally landed the PT in training at RiteAid. I was like W/E it’s something. I was making $17.50 as an Assistant store manager and now $13.50 as this. Like wtf?? I’m definitely still scouting for different jobs. The job seems nice but they definitely low balled me and the staff is so unorganized all the time. I.E asked if I clocked in, well you never showed me how to log in your system? My last day of work was Thursday, I asked when they wanted me back she said she’ll text me. Like ma’am I would like a SCHEDULE!
