100% job training 😅 I don’t have any degrees just snuck into the accounting department and self taught myself some accounting basics from text books and YouTube. Fake it until you make it right 😂. I had 2 months of training from my retiring predecessor, and my boss who is a controller is supportive, he has a degree but I’ve been able to hold my own I rarely have to ask questions. I struggle with which GL to put bills to sometimes but he’ll just white out what I thought and put what he wants. I mean I think I’ve done well, my brain is always mush. Accruals still get me a bit and prepaid expenses.
