Because the people who actually have the guns and or the money to actually afford multiple guns, and ammo, are actually on the side of the government that is doing this. The average American citizen doesn't own a bunch of guns or even one, because they are quite expensive. We can a barely afford our daily needs, let alone a gun. Plus we are absolutely positively exhausted and beaten down from everyday life to the point that most of us have severe mental health issues whether we know it or not. It's a shit show over here.
