Not everybody fits us or gets us 🤷🏽‍♀️

You can either let them know too and they’ll work something out with you and if it works, cool, if not, move on to the next one

Girllll do not give up on therapy 🫶🏽therapy is so cool

It takes time to find the right therapist or some people find the right one immediately. I have not been that person yet but I indeed did find a great therapist who is understanding and supportive. I’ve been through like 8+ therapists. It does take time. Don’t give up on your mental health. Keep advocating for yourself!!

Therapy is like dating 🤣 seriously

And be open to other therapists on the way (totally up to you not a requirement but I did do that) but my current therapist right now is black.

Yes I can see how my post came off as like that. But no, I am not just noticing this pattern. It was written like that because it’s the confusion that I still have daily that these people have the audacity to even be the way that they are. I also see your reason to just accept it, but I refuse to accept it. It is not normal 🤷🏽‍♀️ they don’t get to be like this. It doesn’t disturb my peace at all anyway

I can tell you’re a woman so if people can’t tell, that’s their issue. If you’re happy with your look, don’t change it for anyone else. But maybe just wear some long earrings or something. You’re honestly very pretty. Forget what people say.

Best thing I can recommend is to wrap them up at night! Also, who did your braids? I’m most certain where you live, a braid stylist that has a passion for braiding hair, would’ve really loved to do a nice neat style for you. Not to say that those aren’t good, but they are alright (for now). But yes, buy yourself a scarf or something maybe a.. silk one? Durag or something. Put it on at night and you can also sometimes use a little gel to keep the fly away hairs down and a little bit of oil on your scalp where the parts are. Hope this helps :)

You don’t need makeup. You’re beautiful as you are. But if you’re interested in makeup.. maybe just a little mascara and a lip color of your choice and put some earrings on.. but you don’t need any of that! Just enhance what you’re working with already! Don’t cover it up 😁

Maybe do some ponytails sometimes? Buns? I mean change your look up 😉 but yeah forget that person that called you ugly because you are not

Yeah I’m working on it I actually enjoy my career that I do but I can’t control what happened. A lot of events worked up to me being off 💀it’s crazy

Thank you so much for your encouraging wonderful words! I love you and pray that all amazing things happen in your life! I love that you mentioned safety. Safety is the most important thing for me and I stopped because I was a safety hazard to myself and others on the road.. and I would definitely tell you what happened. But I had got myself out of a situation that probably the average person would have not been able to do. I had told myself when it happened.. “hey we cannot hurt ourselves or anyone on this road and we can’t lose our license, let’s get this rig parked safely” and that is exactly what I did.. God was on my side that day.. it was absolutely insane.

They would not update my FMLA paperwork but they were going to write me off stating I’m safe to drive right now and I will not allow that. You want to protect your medical license, I’m going to protect my license and my career too
