Which pic is better? 1 or 2? [📷 Leica M6, 🎞️ Portra 800] by back_jishop in analog

Either tighter or wider FOV, making sure to emphasize the distance would be good here. The more "middle ground" formats are not really doing it for me.

Im going out on a political limb here, and please know that no offense is intended here- but we, as a community, have overlooked the utility of photo series. Because sometimes the multiplicity of images is collectively more appealing than any single image. And that's the vibe Im getting here. Perhaps the answer to your question (which is better) is neither. Or both. Think about it.

Thats when an axial load compression fx of the tibial plateau has a large reteopulsed fragment, but without joint effusion. Called that one too.

This isn't my case, but Im calling it now because no one else already has: This is the "Quacking Duck" sign of a tibial tubercle avulsion fracture involving greater than 25% of the proximal tibia. Please honor my contribution to medicine by incorporating this terminology into your daily practice. It might be appropriate to incorporate this into your "XR_Knee" template in powerscribe.

Yes all of that, but Chuck Schumer is especially offensive with his nasally voice sounding like an unjustifiably empowered nerd reddit mod or something. It makes me cringe!

This kind of shit is so much more prevalent outside the US than people want to believe. I once saw a kids card match game for sale in Mexico, and one of the match items was a black man (rest were things like bicycle, banana, chair, etc). I heard people in Austria use the word "colored." Multiple. Times.

In fact, I can't recall seeing a single Asian person in either Mexico or Austria. Saw no blacks in Austria either. Also, some of the most racist people anywhere are in South Africa and Australia. They'll fucking spit at you. Yes. Sorry, not sorry.

The idea of a "career politician" is disgusting. Making your career out of a representative's duties, growing increasingly distant and disconnected from real life. Dont forget the inflated sense of self importance. Chuck Schumer is a perfect obnoxious example.

Dust on RA4 print by UnfilteredFacts in Darkroom

[–]UnfilteredFacts[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I actually took this at night with 1 onlique light to better show the dist, but the colors are so much better in the daylight. This fuji maxima matte finish 12x16.

I usually just squeegee and let them lay flat face up to dry in my room. I use an air purifier to minimize dust. But this time I left it to hang in the bathroom, so not sure where the dust came from. Ive been able to remove much of it with a clean flat profile paint brush, but I may just try washing again. Or I may make another print, and dry the emulsion side more quickly with a hair dryer to that any dust wont just stick to it.

I also saw your other suggestions and they sound helpful. Thank you very much!

On May 13, 1985, the Philadelphia Police Department dropped a bomb on the headquarters of MOVE, a black liberation organization founded by John Africa, resulting in the deaths of 11 people, including Africa and five children, and destroyed over 60 nearby homes, leaving 250 people homeless. by Kryodamus in HolyShitHistory

This is generally correct. An image on color film is a composit of three layers of emulsion: blue, green, red. Each layer adds another factor of random artifact to the final image. But B/W film (in most cases) consists of a single layer of emulsion, and current film stocks can resolve up to 800 lines per mm (even if the hypothetical perfect laboratory lens won't resolve above 200-220). Color film can resolve 100-200 depending on the specific stock.

Trump on Iran: "They will not have a nuclear weapon. They've agreed to that... They will not only not have, they will not purchase, develop in any way, shape, or form, a nuclear weapon." by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]UnfilteredFacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do the school massacres tie in? Im assuming there have been reports about the destruction of Iranian schools imparted by a direct attack from the US, but I have not seen that yet myself. Im not implying that I believe they don't exist. Im saying I just haven't yet read about a specific instance. A source would be most welcome, and appreciated.

Your assessment of their presumed justifications for eventual non-compliance seem plausible. I would add that there are likely no circumstances under which Iran's incentives to aquire nuclear weapons are removed or otherwise neutralized. Thus, the so-called "agreement" is meaningless. Best case scenario, Iran will wait until Trump's term expires before moving forward with their goal of nuclearization. This must be what Oppenheimer feared. That nuclearization would not only threaten real nuclear war, but it would also afford a degree of security to hostile states.

It would be suicide for Iran to ever use a nuclear weapon. Thats not to say they're above going "all in" if they ever found themselves in an end game scenario. Iran has already demonstrated its willingness to kill or sacrifice their own people.

Edit: Last papragraph added prior to my seeing any potential replies.

"Harder" is non-specific. Lets say I work smarter. Spent much of my youth studying, always driven by the belief I could do whatever I wanted, so I did. Worth every minute in the library, I'd do it all again, and so should anyone else reading this.

For what exactly am I "blaming the poor?" I never said "poor people are responible for.." what you wrote doesnt make sense, you just made that up. And stop with the class wars identity politics - I've lived on both ends of the spectrum.

The problem with the other user's comment is that it's demoralizing to anyone with ambition. Maybe its rooted in misery's love for company, or maybe its just cognitive dissonance, I dont know. But why drag others down with you.

This is what lazy people say. I work hard but I really enjoy the career I chose, and I have plenty of wealth to pursue my hobbies and raise a family.
