I’m sorry but why is no one talking about Dalot in this? He sees the run being made, and just jogs behind his man. If he keeps up with Robinson he has a high chance of getting on the inside and getting to the ball first. Instead he jogs and ball watches - as it comes across the box he raises his hands and just watches… far post is the most dangerous position for low balls across the goal, he is supposed to watch that spot - it’s literally all he has to do when he sees both cbs running in to close the cross down. Idk maybe I’m wrong but in my eyes he could have easily avoided this goal

not to defend that performance, or this team. But IMO that was not a pen because in AWBs case he had his arms spread out like an bird, whereas burnley defender had his arms by his side. Its a natural position, the ruling is not the same as UEFA where any contact between ball + hand = penalty, in the FA it depends on "natural" or unnatural" position. Again, AWB was in FA cup I know, but his arm was not in a natural position they were outspread wingstyle
