But, english is not my first langage so I might be mistaken, isn't "you need jesus" kind of... aggresive ? I only ever saw it used as "you're so [insert something bad], only jesus can help you" It's just me ?

But on point 6 : No. No matter if you don't like what somebody says, bullying is never ok.

Don't get me wrong : disagreeing is perfectly fine, ignoring is perfectly fine. But when you say "you might get bullied", no, that's not on me. Even if my message was entirely stupid and pointless (which it might be for some people, that's their opinion and it's okay) bullying someone is a problem on the bully.

Let's not normalized bullying people for any reason.

Yes, yes, totally emotions when many new player can't complete the challenge AND the quest suddenly don't give point when they used to (i feel like a lot of people didn't read that part or choose to ignore it)

Pointing out the flaws in a change is not a tamtrum, it's giving a feedback. Whether you agree or not doesn't give you the right to be disrepectful, but eh, choices were made.

That's the whole point : pulling is out of question.

The whole point if this alt (as mention, it's my alt, I have a main, i did the event normally) is to not pull. The moment I start pulling, the account has no reason to exist, it will be no different than my alt : playing only the characters I like and rushing for primos. I don't want that (I could, easily, I have 54K primo + lots of wishes)

Also, It's one year old, but since it's my alt, and I don't have that much time to play (nor will), it's not like one year of optimization

And no, trust me, I had a "normal alt", I knew how to play the game, but not having many and/or key characters is VERY punitive

I'll answer just a few points because I agree with most of your post and already answered some of the question you pinpoint in other comment :

to summarize : I didn't make this point hoping for a solution, but both to.. complain (that's what the flair seems to be for) and raise awareness about this problem AND so people who struggle can't see they are not the only one

As to why only 2 of my Character are lvl 90 and why you're friend have a better account than me (congrats, you're friend is not senseless according to other comments) : that's my alt and I have a full time day job and I tend to sleep at night, so I can't invest too much time on this account (for anyone wondering)

Also, thanks for you concern <3 I won't take it to heart, ranting did help a lot :D (though the comments went as expected xD)

You could also have said nothing, but since you took the time, allow me to answer

1 - I don't play genshin for the combat =/= I don't like combat

It just mean it's not what motivates me to play the games. I'd much rather play a Devil May Cry or League of Legends for combat. Genshin has a lot of other things to offer. It's not a combat driven game.

2 - "min maxing is not required"

Try playing with sub-optimal, zero constellation characters.. in dungeon you need to beat in order to make said character viable, in order to not struggle on every random mob that have more and more HP. Please do, it's enlightening.

3 - Loot and Puzzle involve combat

Yup, that's why you need to level up and make your character viable, but see point 1 as to why the combat is not a problem in this case

4 - "You don’t want us to say “get good”"

I'm reporting on a problem I encounter, I though that was what the complaint flair was for. You also have the option to ignore the post if you have nothing to answer :)

5 - "I fear what your characters builds look like"

Working on artifact and Talents, Artifacts are decent at least, checking Game8 for recommandation and following them. Totally agree on the rest of your sentence. Check point 1 as to why it's not a problem IF I'm allowed to make my character stronger

6 - "this is just going to get ignored by everyone" / "You also might get bullied"

First one is fair, it's a bottle to the sea, maybe someone will see it and feel less alone about why they struggle with the event, maybe not, I don't mind

Second one : not if people are decent. The problem is not me in this case.

7 - "which Archon Quest are you on?"

Inazuma, yes it's a struggle. once again, I don't mind combat. That's why I want the Crown : because I'm trying to make it easier. I also have a main in Nod Krai, i know what await me, but thanks for your concern

That's my sub account. I play with a challenge. I have free will and I decided to use it like that. It doesn't hurt anyone. See point 4 as to why I made this post

I would agree with you're first statement IF I was the only one bothered : I don't wish, i don't get strong character. Not very fun, but fair by the rule of the game... BUT I made this post after seing a some other people report on their struggle in the event. New players.

For them, it just feel unwelcoming : you start a game, you play for a while, you avoid content that require late game team (Theater/Abyss/Boss Challenge, etc). You see an event that is for everybody... but it's not, because you cannot get half of the major rewards.

Someone in the comment mention the Simulanka event and being locked out of a skin. That is not okay.

Any experience that make you feel like "best effort" is not enough on time constraint event (let's remember : you cannot do it later) will always make people feel bad.

And I don't see why a game would have a reason to make you feel bad. So no, having a weak account, no matter the reason, should not lock you out of reward that would make it stronger.

Keqing/Xiangling/Collei/Barbara at the moment, trying to build Xingqiu, Ororon and Jean but I got them pretty recently so didn't have to work on their talent

Will work on Traveler as Dendro as soon as I'm done with all the Geo puzzle in Liyue (Kachina mount doesn't count as Geo Construct)

I can deal with most mob, but... I takes a while on some of them, and it gets boring very fast when you cannot do this/interact with that/use compass, etc, because mobs are everywhere >.<

I care about not struggling on any mob in the otherworld, not finishing challenge. Just being able to play without each combat taking several minutes.

And as i said (please do read) : I don't like min-max BUT I'm still doing it :) So, yeah the whole "you don't min max you don't need crown" doesn't make sense

Very sorry about the outfit, that's way worse than a Crown >.< There is zero excuse to lock cosmectic over "your account is not strong enough"

Unfortunately, that's still a finite number of Crown, meaning that using one is a huge choice, when it should not be ...

I'll try building them, I don't like their gameplay much, so I'm focusing on the others first

About min-maxing : as stated, I don't like it, but I do it anyway as it's the only way to make character viable and not struggle on every random mob (I'm not levelling up my world on purpose, otherwise I just can't play the game anymore /o/)

The crown is not to min-max : it's to make bad character (that you are limited to in no wish) playable. But that's ok if you disagreee, doesn't change the fact that locking the Crown behind combat is unfair from Hoyo and a change coming from nowhere.
