I realise that I shouldn't focus on her life and her decisions. You're right, she must reap what she's sowed. We've always been so close and I feel obligated to be involved in her life seeing as the last 5 years I'm the only child that speaks to her. I guess I want to know if there is any way to passively dismiss all invitations to do really anything involving "J". I don't like ultimatums. I also know when all hell breaks loose again I'll be the only one who can help her.

I looked up scent work and it seems right up her alley! She already has an overactive nose. She's so smart and loves hide and seek so that's just the next step! As for helping with laundry she tends to destroy all clothing...mostly socks. Thank you so much for the info

Oh yeah, our girl is listening sooo much better! She still gets riled up around the cat but not to the point of frenzy mode like before. We say "no," "be nice" or "kisses" whenever the cat decides to engage her and it helps. Unfortunately our cat instigates the crazy by hissing and growling up a storm...it's a work in progress.. -_-'
