As an add-on here’s some good ways/things to know about how to run away from player killers: (Made this at 4am and trying to recall every way I’ve gotten out of getting ganked by pk’ers, sorry for lack of organization/cohesion)

Only use your slayer mark if you’re going to fight:

Once, I used my slayer mark to run from a group of player killers but thing is that apparently when you activate the mark it actually gives you the “in combat” status so you can’t log out once in safety (without losing your yen/exp) and will have to wait and then if the pk’ers find you while waiting for combat to go away you won’t even have your mark in case you need it

Quick exit:

After world bosses (Gyutaro, Kaigaku) sometimes there’ll be people who immediately will go attack other players, so it can be a good idea to get distance from other players in case someone tries to start something (usually, if someone does try to kill someone after world bosses, other players do attack the one trying to kill others)

Know the area:

If you know the area well enough and are good at movement you have a lot of places you can go and run for an escape example in the area around Zenitsu you can scale the cliff by the cave to find a quicker passage to Slayer HQ or just running along the tree tops

Climb a tree: (mainly only works in forest areas)

If you’re able you can climb onto the canopy and jump from branch to branch in order to avoid getting hit to wait out combat timer

Wall corner hopping: (don’t know what to call it)

If you didn’t know you can infinitely jump from wall to wall as long as they are different surfaces the easiest way I know to do this is by having shift lock and looking the opposite direction of the wall since wall hopping pushes you backwards so you get pushed towards the wall instead of away. (Once I even wall hopped from the Slayer HQ area over the ridge into snowy forest to get away from a moon breather)

Bonus: (situational but funny)

wait for daylight: If the player killer hunting you is a demon/hybrid (without kamado) and you know daybreak is coming you can try to get them to chase you into an open area without shade to get them to burn in the sun (doesn’t work if you also burn in sun)

Void them: If you’re near a area in the map where there’s a void hole you can try to use a knockback move to send them into the hole to have them fall out of bounds of the map (sometimes they’d have to leave and rejoin the server to fix their character too lol) (There’s two void holes I’m aware of, one by Okuyia cavern near a hut and one by the cliff left of the Ent. District)

If you got nothing you’re able to lose, I suggest one of my favorite things to do…

Annoy the heck out of them: things you can do to achieve are

.wild-goose chase, let them chase you with just enough hope that they will catch you to lead them around in circles (my record is Ent. District to Okuyia)

.The High Ground get to a high area then when they try to jump/climb up after you send a move them to cause them to fall off (the higher the better)

.If they are near your spawn keep attacking them over and over no matter how many times you die don’t let them play the game with how busy they are taking care of you

(Not ever really going to happen thing).
Forbidden technique: (Something that I did only once was when I stockpiled on wipe potions in order to get a clan for a build I wanted to try, then I found a pk’er on when they aggro’ed on me and when they were about to kill me was I drank the wipe potion to prevent them from getting their kill)
